    LADY RAMPLE

Fabulous abd chic Lady Rample is an indepent woman when women wete not considered as much more than things. She knows how topiece tpgether puzzles but isnt too proud to accept help even from men when needed. Thoroughly enjoyable with a glimpseinto all walks of ife in the roaring 20s.

    Lady Rampole Book 1

Not particularly funny or cozy . Lacking in nuance. Predictable. Backstory for heroine is groaningly stereotypical. Must 'modern' young things always be shallow? Must rectors always be hypocritical? Must Chief Inspectors always be stupid? I wasted my Kobo points on this one. I am glad it wasn't real money.

    Different in a Good Way

The novel made me laugh and kept me guessing until the ending. I enjoyed it.

    The shield of money

Love how the finances of the main character give her permission to behave in ways most unbecoming of a lady! Good fun.

    Cozy mystery that entertained

Lady Rampel’s friend Chaz invites her to go with him to a new jazz nightclub. Of course her dear Aunt Butty gets involved when a co-owner of the club is murdered. The two of them try to track the murderer’s down without becoming victims themselves.
