  • Half a novel?

Another adventure of Freya and Winston, a.k.a. Stone, with grandpa Sunny Joe of the Sunny Joe tribe. Both are having their respective problems mastering the ultimate martial art Sinanju, of which their father Remo Williams (from whose long-running series this is a spinoff using elements created by Warren Murphy’s then ghost Will Murray) is the reigning master. Perhaps the best part is our first picture of the Sinanju salary negotiation rituals. Aside from this, however, the books ends without coming to any satisfactory conclusion. There is one plot thread about a master spy who has gotten a whiff of Sinanju, another about an infiltration into the Sunny Joe tribe. Neither really goes anywhere. So read this only if you have faith that another volume will appear soon to finish the story in this one.

    Thanks for your feedback!
