  • Lovely Second Chance

Letters From Grace by C.J. Carmichael has a daughter looking for love, love for her father that is. I have read books where children wanted a mother or father in their life but that is not the case for this story. The daughter is nearly grown but worries her widowed father will become lonely. What a lovely premise for a story. It is also told so well too. The finding of letters, the subtle invitation and the connection that follows. While it doesn’t happen quite that easily for Jessica Shanahan to execute, it is a lovely story as Levi Shanahan and Grace Hamilton reunite. Much more to this story as they examine their past choices, where they are now and how brave they are for choices in the future. Well worth the read. An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  • Great Read!

This was a really great story. It was heartwarming, and very sweet. I was immersed in the story from the very first chapter. I loved how Levi's daughter didn't want her dad to be alone after she went away to college. She found some letters in the attic and decides to find Grace and set her up with her dad. It is a great second chance story and the daughter adds just a little bit more to their second chance. Their journey to that second chance is very heartfelt and honest. I would highly recommend this book.I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

  • Second Chance Romance

An awesome second chance romance that I could not put down. Jess only wants her father to be happy after she leaves for college next fall when she find letters in old shoe box, all from an old girlfriend, Grace. She invites Grace back home to Woodland under false pretenses that might not be good for all, but will an old romance spark back up. Loved, loved this book on so many levels. Levi, as a young widower, has put his whole life into raising his daughter, Jess. Jess, is an awesome daughter and just wants her dad to find his forever love. Grace, a well known photographer of wild life, has never found her forever love. Loved all the descriptive writing of the outdoors, perfect fall reading. I highly recommend this read.

  • Enjoyed it

Enjoyed this sweet second chance at love story. The drama, angst & love is definitely strong throughout this story. Love letters in an attic found by accident & a daughter worried about her father when she goes away to school, brings young love back together. The letters of a long distance relationship gives Jess the idea of bringing her father Levi back in touch with his ex-girlfriend Grace an accomplished photojournalist. An invitation to a festival brings Grace back home & the chance to reconnect with Levi, her one true love. Along with the story of Levi & Grace, we also watch the budding young love between two best friends as Jess & Max navigate their friendship. We see the want for more & the fear from secrets, as these two drift apart. It’s Levi & Grace all over again. Thank you to Tule publishing for letting me read this book for an honest review.
