    Liam is Wonderful

Watch out world – Liam is going to be something else when he is fully mature! He is gorgeous, growing quickly, filled with fire, thinking about his future, dealing with loss and doing his best to curb his temper while wanting to spread his wings and be considered more than a child. I can see Liam is going to have an interesting life in the future, will no doubt have many adventures and ultimately (hopefully) find his mate. In the meantime…he has some growing and learning and other things to do. As the final part in a three segment storyline about the Cuelebre family it was great! I enjoyed seeing Liam and admired him for many reasons. I don’t want to give the story away because it is so very short but have to say that it was well worth the read. Hopefully in the future the three stories will be bundled together for those who want to read in order and are just beginning to read the Elder Races series. AND…I can’t wait to find out what will happen next! Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the copy of this short story to read and review.

A must read. Liam is wonderful.

~ 4 Liam Takes Stars ~ Liam Takes Manhattan is a shot story in the Elder Races series by Thea Harrison. This short is meant to be read after Shadow's End. Yes, their are spoilers for Shadow's End in this story, so read the novel first or be warned. I enjoyed the insight into Liam. He’s such a unique being that it puts him in a tough situation. Add in that he is now a teenager in less time then it takes other Wyr to grow and you have a character trying to find their place in the Wyr world and battle the growing pains of being a teenager/adult. He is currently at a crossroads, feeling lost in all areas of his life and wants/needs to find out who he is. By the end I was left wanting more. The ending does an abrupt end at a point when things are just getting more interesting. Many readers will probably not like this. I am hopeful the author will finish where the plot was going with another novella. If you love this series, it’s a must read. It’s told so well and flushes out a characters that has become one of my favorites the day he was conceived.

    A Must Read!

I have been salivating for the final book in this miniseries of The Cuelebre Family. We get such a holiday treat from Ms. Harrison with this way-to-short-I-wish-it-were-longer-but-I’ll-read-anything-she-writes story. Liam is growing up FAST. Well, his body and his dragon is anyway. He’s still relatively young in every other area and his dragon is pushing him to mature faster than his mind can. Liam is struggling with the immense power his Wyr form holds and he is experiencing some monumental growing pains. Pia and Dragos often struggle with parenting, especially since this is new territory for everyone. There are a lot of surprises in this short read and instead of commenting on them, all I can say is that this is a greatly anticipated read and I loved every word of it! I am so excited to see where the Elder Races will go next. The dynamics are constantly changing and I’m absolutely fascinated and completely enthralled. Thank you Ms. Harrison for this wonderful read. Happy Holidays to you as well! ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***

    Need More Liam Adventures

I received this book early in ARC form, took one look at the warning about a major spoiler and laughed in derision. Spoiler? Bah, I needed to read Liam's story, he's been a favorite since he was still a fetus, for heaven's sake. Yeah. Um. Really wished I hadn't done that. Not because it truly spoiled book 9, Shadow's End, but because I went into this book with the wrong mind set. It's hard to believe that Liam has grown up so much in such a short time, but he is a predatory wyr; the apex predator you could say. It's a bit sad that he has lost some of his innocence and shine, but you can already see the kind of man he's going to grow into. I can't wait to read more of Liam's adventures. I gave this book 3 stars. Thanks to Netgalley and Thea Harrison for the opportunity to read and review the story.
