  • Love and intrigue

Really intriguing book as the key characters attempt to unravel mysteries of Kennedy Hawkins life and the implications it has for her and those around her. Great book. You will want to keep reading for as long as you can.

  • Rated 4.5 Stars

Lies was an interesting and intriguing ride that had me on the edge of my seat, highly anticipating what would happen next. My eyes were practically glued to the pages the entire time it took me to devour this book. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait for the conclusion of this trilogy.

  • So many twists

Holy... this book was so intense. This is book is why I love reading — twists and turns. Trying to figure things out, it’s pure magic. No one does twists and turns better than Aleatha Romig. She’s the queen! I know I’m babbling, but I honestly have no clue what to say without spoiling anything. Just go one-click Secrets and dive blindly into Sparrows world!

  • More questions than answers

This book picks up immediately where the last book ended, and I would suspect the final book will do the same. That is the thing with a good cliffhanger, you need it to start right back up again! We get more into 'couple-dom' in this book, but it is far from traditional. There is so much going on, sometimes your head feels like it is spinning, but there is some important insight in a couple of spots that bring it all together. No answers mind you, just more questions. The story isn't in the finding the answers, but the path taken to find the questions that need answers!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • The Web Continues to Grow

The second book in the Web of Sin trilogy did not disappoint. It started where Secrets left off and while we got some much needed answers, it it was still packed full of more secrets and more lies. I loved every minute of this delicious, suspenseful, intriguing, sexy ride. As this tangled web gets more convoluted, trust becomes key to survival. Araneae gets immersed into Sterling’s life. Patrick, Reid and Lorna are all a package deal with Sterling and she must trust them. She has her own family with Silk Thread but secrets have come between them. The past and the present are all beginning to collide in Araneae’s life and she must figure out who to trust, who is telling lies and who is telling truths. Will all the Secret and Lies eventually lead to a Promise of Love for Araneae and Sterling? I throughly enjoyed getting the story to Araneae’s past. It intrigued me as well as left me wanting to know more. The intersection of Araneae and Sterling’s past opens up to a more clearer picture but there are still many more questions and answers I need to know!!! I love the twist and turns this author puts her readers through. Nothing is straight forward. When you think you know the direction the story, BAM, she throws a huge wrench into the story and takes you on a detour. Your mind is constantly working and trying to figure out rights and wrongs. I’m suspicious of everyone and everything. This book also ends in a cliffhanger but it sets up the fireworks of the past and the present that will explode in the last book of the series. Will Sterling’s devotion to keep Araneae safe be his downfall? Can she really trust the man when he still keeps secrets from her? Will Araneae be able to handle the truth of her past when she finds out how dark and sinister all the players are? All I know is that the last book in the trilogy, PROMISES, to be epic!!
