A good read with a satisfactory conclusion

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest review. Life’s Gateway to Happiness is a clean, well thought out story, however I did find it very long-winded with high octane emotions running out of control ! Kelly’s return to the seat of her family home in seeming disgrace was realistic and one could understand her feelings of self-doubt and questioning of her value system. I would have liked to see her grow a backbone and take measures to protect herself. Alec is the original Alpha male, taking it upon himself to solve his loved one’s problems, not realising that it is enough for him to just be there and offer a comforting shoulder to cry on when required. The whole Alvarez family is close knit and the concern shown one for another is heart-warming, if a little bit smothering. Despite dealing with one of the most difficult issues women have to face, this was a good read with a satisfactory conclusion.

    Life's Gateway to Happiness

This is a sweet romantic story. The characters are well developed and the story line is well done. I felt that the dialog was too repetitive with the characters saying the same thing over and over instead of referring to what happened previously. Other than that, the story left me with a good feeling and I was happy with the outcome. This book was given to me as a gift and I chose to provide a review.

    Family Heals

Life has not been kind to Kelly Samuels recently. So she heads home to family in St. Louis. Doctor Alec Alvarez was headed home and found Kelly, the sister of his new sister in law, in the ditch. Loved getting to catch up with the Samuels/Alvarez families. The strength showed by Kelly and Alec while they overcome and heal from some sad events is amazing. Seriously hoping we get more from these growing families.
