  • Amazing Book

This is book seven in The Pelican Bay Security Series and it is Nate and Josie's story and I loved it so much. There are many twists and turns and that is what makes this a must read and it is a real page turner and you have to keep reading to see what will happen next and I couldn't put this book down. Megan Matthews is an amazing author and writer and she is becoming one of my favourite authors. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed.

  • Great Story

Nate knew that Josie was the woman for him from the first moment he saw her. Too bad he ran over her accidentally with her truck. Josie on the other hand thought that she had nothing but bad karma. First she loses her husband because of his cheating on her, then she gets run down by a truck! What could possibly go wrong. That is something she really shouldn't ask herself because karma wasn't finished with her! This story has a lot of drama that will keep you all caught up in Nate and Josie's journey as they take the path that will hopefully lead to a happily ever after. • Kept Me Entertained

Good story, kept me entertained. I finished the book within a day and really love the series. It is about a single mom who get run over by a new member of the team and how they work on the relationship and finding drugs is part of the side story. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I loved the first book of the series better, but I believe I will always love the first book in a series the best. • Great Book! Wonderful Addition to the Series

This is book seven in the Pelican Bay series. It’s hot, funny and enjoyable to read. I loved this series. You could read this book as a standalone, but I think it’s more enjoyable to read the series in order. Pelican Bay is a quirky, unique town will equally unique quirky people. Katy never fails to get everyone around her into some form of trouble or danger and Pearl never fails to make me laugh. Nate is an ex-Navy SEAL working at Ridge’s security firm, Pelican Bay Security. He accidently hits Josie with his truck and sets about helping her take care of her and her daughter Emma. Nate’s a little out of his league at first trying to take care of an infant but once he puts his mind to it he starts to succeed at the whole taking care of Emma thing. He needs to convince Josie that she’s it for him and he never wants to leave but her ex-husband has done a number on her and she never wants to feel dependent on a man again. Can Nate convince her to trust him and take a chance on their relationship. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Loved it

The author has taken us back to Pelican Bay to spend time with our friends and be introduced to some new ones. After Nate hits Josie with his truck, he feels it necessary to help take care of her and her daughter. Josie is slow to trust but Nate makes it almost impossible to not trust him.
