  • Little Fires Everyehere

This is s very thought-provoking story of two fmilies whose startlingly divergent lives collide. The seemingly comfortable orderly and wealthy Richardsons and wild spirited yet grounded Warrens who drift from city to city seeking inspiration leave their indelible marks everywhere. This an impressive glimpse into superficial worlds of self deception and eye-popping reality and American inequalitities and opportitiezu this a read you can set aside for s very short stint, as you ruminate over the eventd and are urgently compelled to read on.

  • Searing with love and irony

A small ember that ignites each successive chapter with a hotter fury.

  • Little Fires Everywhere

Gave up on this storyline. Jumped all over the place both with characters and time lines. Also found it a little predictable and childish.

  • Not bad. But I wanted more.

I rated it 3 out of 5 stars. Yes, this one was a disappointment. I had great expectations for this book, after all I absolutely loved her debut book “Everything I Never Told You”. The writing is great, no doubt about it, and very easy. The story line, although very slow in the beginning, is quite good. I did like the structure and all POV. My main problem is that I did not like any of the characters, as I thought that they were all too shallow, therefore I was emotionally disconnected. Took me sometime to finished it, but once I passed 35% I did not want to stop, thanks to her writing style.

  • Writing good, characters irritating

Really?? Being made into a movie?? I found his book quite boring. But more importantly, I felt many actions in this book are praised when its just wrong. So many things felt morally wrong. This book made me angry. Originally I wanted to read Celeste’s first book, now I’m just going to pass.
