    Lockstep

This one wasn’t my favorite of the three. It ends in a cliffhanger so I know there’s another book coming, which is good, but the constant back and forth of Sam and Cal is almost exhausting, as is Sam’s convenient relationships with a man close to every single investigation. This woman is not made out to be a stupid character accept in this instance. She’s painted out to be a gold digger who goes after rich men but is completely blind to the fact that they’re either drug lords or pedophiles and it’s always a guy who is using her to get to Cal. I mean give the woman a break. All in all, I liked the story and I’m glad Ariel is safe. I like how Cal and Stammo have their own detective agency now, which allows him to skirt the law even further than he already was. I’m anxious to know how he’s going to get himself out of the predicament he’s now in.

    Lockstep..,another winner by Robert French

I can honestly say that this book did not disappoint. After having read the first 2 books I was curious to see how Cal Rogan would continue to grow. The story line is easy to follow and had me waiting in anticipation as to the out come. I have honestly found the books as interesting as many best sellers. The cost of the book is in no way indicative of the calibre of style and substance found in Lockstep. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Junkie or Oboe I suggest that you immediately add them to your library! Enjoy!!

Grabs your attention and holds it till the end!

LOCKSTEP had me hooked from the first paragraph & I had a hard time putting it down. Robert French makes every character come to life so well that you feel you are right there in the story with them!! If you are a fan of Harry Bosch, Jack Reacher, John Jordon you will LOVE CAL ROGAN! A must read!! Can't wait for number 4!!

Fast paced thriller - hard to put down

Read the first two Cal Rogan books and have just finished Lockstep. It has the same clever story and colorful characters but a faster pace such that I had difficulty putting it down. Best of the three - looking forward to number four.
