  • Excellent read

I highly recommend Long Bright Road. I enjoyed her style of short chapters(?) and I also enjoyed the interweaving of the past with the present (Then and Now). In addition, the fact that the drug crisis is a social issue in our daily lives currently and as many of us have experienced or are experiencing a loved one's immersion in a drug situation, I felt you could feel the pain of the addict and the loved one watching the situation through Liz Moore's writing. It also gave hope and yet, presented it as it truly is for the addict and the family member.

  • Gripping page turner!

Loved, loved, loved this novel. Fast paced, heart pounding type of read, that goes in depth into the world of opioid addiction and the millions it is destroying. You can’t but help fall in love with the characters and their heartbreaking journey through this world.

  • Keeps you waiting to turn the next page!!

I was caught in the writers web right from the start of the book. I love the way the writer moved from then to now, I enjoyed the many twists along the way. It was a hard topic and was written from a true knowledge of addictions and the problems that are part of the whole family and community. I would certainly recommend this book to all.

  • Long and Boring

I began this mystery with high hopes because of its excellent reviews. I persevered even though I think the book is way too long - the story could have been told in many fewer pages. While the plot is interesting - a cop in search of her drug addicted sister - the story is very drawn out and tedious.

    Thanks for your feedback!
