    Will She Remember?

I've read all the books in this series and have been waiting for Keegan's story. I knew the basics but I wanted the whole story! We knew he was adopted by the Thorn family and that he was an illegitimate child, never felt wanted by his biological father and had a beef with his half-brother, the policeman who has been in all the previous books but I couldn't wait to "get in his head" and find out his real feelings and the heart of him. This story was just so good! It's a hard thing to feel unwanted and unloved, even if some of that is only in your mind. Keegan has acted out his whole life to try and cover up his feelings and make others think he doesn't care, especially women. He treats them nicely, of course, but he doesn't get close! That's why when he meets Tracy for the first time, he's drawn to her in a way he doesn't understand! Tracy is running for her life after witnessing a murder! However, she gets a head injury soon after and can't remember any details so everyone things she's crazy....except Keegan. He knows she's telling the truth and stays by her side no matter what. In a Dana Mentink book, there is always a LOT of action and suspense! There is in this one so buckle up and get ready for a bumpy ride as Tracy tries to prove she saw a murder and hopes that the murderer doesn't kill her before she & Keegan prove it!

    Thrilling conclusion to the series!

Dana Mentink has outdone herself in Lost Christmas Memories, the conclusion to the Gold Country Cowboys series. This book centers around Keegan Thorn. He has an encounter with Tracy Wilson after she has witnessed a murder and sustained a head injury and is suffering from amnesia. The problem is she has no idea who was murdered and there is no body! Keegan appears to be one of the only people that believes her and they work together to discover the truth of what really happened. Keegan is the adopted Thorn brother. He has always seemed like the rebel and definitely has held a grudge against his biological father and half-brother. This book was definitely action-packed and suspenseful with the right amount of romance. However, what I really appreciated was seeing how the author dealt with the theme of reconciliation as Keegan has to face head on the feelings he has been harboring against his father and half-brother all these years. Although this can definitely be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend treating yourself by reading the others in the series first because readers will get updates on the Thorn brothers featured in each of the first three books I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

    High Level Suspense

Lost Christmas Memories by Dana Mentink is the fourth book in her Love Inspired Suspense Gold Country Cowboys series. Tracy Wilson witnesses a murder. After sustaining a head injury, she can’t remember who she saw; and he wants to keep it that way. This story grabbed your interest from the opening sentence and never let up ‘til the very end. The suspense of waiting for Tracy to fully remember what happened kept me on the edge of my seat. And the bond that grew between her and Keegan was so enduring. I loved the way he tried to keep her protected even when he had issues of his own. All in all it was a great story. I received this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
