    Loved it!

This was a wonderful book! I have read all of Deric Longden's books that are available on Kobo in e-book format. Enjoyed them all. He has a very warm and caring style, as well as humour worked into the stories too. Now I am looking for "Paws in the Proceedings" in e-book as well. Where can I find it? He must have been a very special man with his blend of caring and humour! Love his writing, so sorry he is gone!

    Lost For Words

As always, Deric's ability to captivate and invoke ones imagination as well as memories is outstanding. I have read all his books and found them all wonderful works of art and although 'Diana's Story' can be emotionally difficult to read at times, the content is so deep, inspiring, and most importantly, a wonderful tribute to a truly wonderful person, Diana. After meeting Deric personally on two occasions, I can truly vouch that the man you read about in all these works of art is the real down to earth, Deric, a naturally humorous gentleman whose unique take on everyday life and fur covered shenanigans are literary genius.

    Bittersweet

In Lost For Words Deric Longden tries to come to terms with the tragic death of his first wife Diana. At the same time he deals with his wonderfully eccentric mother and cares for her as good as he can after mother suffers two strokes, the last of which leaves her with aphasia. He has a budding relationship with Aileen Armitage, who is later to become his second wife. All this, and then trying to write a book is a bit much for Deric, who still, whatever life throws at him retains his wonderful sense of humor. This makes Lost For Words a marvellous book to read.
