    Thanks for your feedback!

I was kept guessing right through the prologue!

I'm not sure exactly where to start with this book.  It's unlike any other Rocker Romance that I've read.  Don't get me wrong.  Everything I expect from a rocker romance is there, the drug use, loose women, and drama.  It's all there.  But this book takes place more on the fringes of the music scene, than in the middle of it. Chase is an addict.  He knows it.  He admits it.  He makes no excuses for it.  Other than that, his life is golden.  He is a businessman, has more money than he could ever spend, and women throw themselves at his feet.  But he's not really happy. Taryn was happy.  Until tragedy struck.  Then everything fell apart.  She manages to pull her life together, but she isn't really happy either. Chase and Taryn are together, but not really.  They have an instant attraction, but their relationship is toxic.  They have to figure out who they are, fix what is wrong, before they can move on.  Things always get worse before they get better, and this story just proves that. I was pulling for Chase and Taryn from the beginning, but there was so much standing in their way, I just didn't see how it could happen. The author kept me guessing right up until the prologue.  There weren't a lot of laughs in this book, so if that's what you are looking for, you won't find it here.  But despite the serious topics in this book, its a solid story that kept me engaged.  The characters seem so real, with real world problems, tragedy, and drama.  I could picture what was happening, but could never guess what was coming next. This book is part of a series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone.  There are recurring characters, but references to past events were minimal.  I have however read the other books, and they are totally worth the time to read them!
