    Hot but sad

Loved it but found myself getting angry at these cheating, lying men. How much can one woman take? Rebecca leaves the country for her new job. She is also running to a new life to forget Julian, the man she has loved since high school but is married to a woman fighting cancer. On the flight she sits next to a very handsome, very sexy Frenchman. Alain sweeps her off her feet and thoughts of Julian are (mostly) gone! Then she meets her new boss who wants to seduce her as well! Problem? Married. The weeks pass and Alain has expressed his love and desire to marry Rebecca. Problem? His father has other plans for Alain and he introduces Rebecca to the woman HE has decided his son will marry. It appears they are engaged. On to book 2 now moving on to Germany! Hopefully Rebecca's luck will change!

4 Stars From Sammy's Book Obsession

MY THOUGHTS~ I was provided with a Review Copy/ARC for review. Lost in France was a very enjoyable read. I nearly read it straight through and would have if pesky “real life” wouldn’t have gotten in my way! I am very much looking forward to reading book 2 in the Firebird Trilogy. This book was a bit different from what I’ve been reading lately and that was surprisingly refreshing. I’ve been into the darker stuff lately, so this was great. Don’t get me wrong, it had plenty of ups and downs and heartbreak, it just was not a dark gritty read. Good stuff! Lost in France takes place mostly in -guess where...France! There is a bit of Austrailia in the beginning and plans for Germany at the end. I loved getting a glimpse into the French customs and experiences that the author offers us in this book. That’s a wonderful attribute. Author Jani Kay, has a brilliant way with words and getting her character’s point across. She is very talented and I can’t wait to read more of this trilogy!
