    4.5 Stars

4.5 Stars I picked this up a couple years ago when it was free in the Kindle store. I was absolutely blown away by the writing and story telling. It was my first A.L Jackson story and after reading it, I immediately had to read the next in the series and have since devoured everything she's written. She is now an auto-buy author for me. I've reread this series three times. While this story was actually written after book 1, it tells the story of how Christian and Elizabeth met and fell in love and eventually their downfall. It does end on a cliffhanger, but book two is out and begs to be read. Anytime I'm in a reading slump, I pick up this series and fall in love all over again.

When a friendship sudden leads to much more....

Finding the person that makes your heart skip with each word they utter is a gift all on its own. For Christian and Elizabeth – a simple class assignment will lead them into a friendship that neither could have imagined. Christian is the guy that seems to have it all. A future all planned out by his parents, the ability to live the way he chooses, and the assuredness that comes from a life of privilege. Elizabeth is everything that Christian is NOT. From her desire to move to a city that plagued her dreams, to the sweetness that Elizabeth exuded with each smile on her face….nothing about Elizabeth was like the type of person that Christian typically found himself in the company of. As the two continued to engage as study partners, Elizabeth and Christian were finding the lines of their friendship strained. Their attraction was growing by the day, but neither wanted to risking losing the bonds that they had formed. When the attraction becomes too much, where will their friendship land? Can the two find a way to remain friends and delve into the affection that is so prominent in their relationship? Lost to You is the prequel to the Regret Series by A.L. Jackson. It is an emotional journey between Christian and Elizabeth that will definitely lead you on a romantic road to finding one’s soul mate. It is a road riddled with friendship, romance, and epic heartbreak. After all, don’t we all remember that college romance that exists in our own past? Jackson will pull you into Christian and Elizabeth’s life while creating a world of ‘opposites’ for the two characters. Personally – I was pulled into this story from start to finish. Never wanting to put my reader down!! It is an emotional journey that will shed light on just how these two characters find themselves on the paths that their lives have directed them upon. Discover where Christian and Elizabeth’s journey began……you can thank me later!!

    Great read

Good book and nice story. Didnt want it to end. Liked the way it was written by having two points of view and overlapping each others story. Will read more from this author.
