    Cute

Love Machine by Kendall Ryan is a fun and fast friends to lovers romance. Keaton Henly has a problem. It seems that her focus on her job has lead to some sexual inexperience. In a drunk moment she asks her friend Slate Cruz, who has no trouble finding hookups, to help her. When Slate hears Keaton's request he tries to help her hook up with guys to allow her to have some sexplorations, but when he finds himself sabotaging the attempts he realizes that he wants to be the one to help his friend with her education. Keaton and Slate were cute and awkward while still having all their years of friendship to fall on. Something that was nice about this friends to lovers is it was not a case of one or both of them having secret feelings. When the deeper romantic feelings start to develop neither of them see it or believe it. It was a nice twist. Overall I enjoyed Love Machine by Kendall Ryan and the progression that the characters go through. It wasn't a simple dawning of realization, it was a fight, but Slate's drive to always go for what he wants and Keaton's methodical planning make for an additional opposites attract aspect. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free from the publisher in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

    Great Read!

Love Machine was a funny and cute read! I really enjoyed the concept and found it quite entertaining. Keaton and Slate are great characters. They were easy to like and connect with. I loved all of their interactions. They make an adorable couple for sure. Them being friends first made their new connection even stronger. They just fit with one another and everyone knows it. I wish there would have been a little more background information given about the two of them. We find out a little bit, but I would have liked to know even more about them. Love Machine had me laughing, smiling, awwing, and close to tears at one unexpected part. It was a great read!

    5 star Read

SLATE!!! Oh goodness, Slate is just so swoony! Love Machine was such an amazing read for me, I absolutely loved it. Best Friends to Lovers romance is one of my favourite tropes ever, so I was so excited when I found out about this book, I could not wait to read it. Keaton is what you might express as a little bit nerdy. She kind of reminds people of a shy librarian, the source of a lot of men's fantasies. She is so funny in some parts, like in a laugh out loud, feel embarrassed for her kind of way. There is a part with a cucumber that had me in stitches! Slate, well where do I start with Slate. Yes he is the playboy type but he has a heart of gold which makes him completely swoon worthy. He cares for Keaton and their friendship and he is there for her whenever she needs him. I absolutely loved Slate! This book will have you laughing out loud, and will keep you intrigued right from the beginning. I could not put it down. I can't wait to read more from Kendall. I hope you love Slate and Keaton's story as much as I did!

    Sexy friends to lovers

Friends to lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes. I love the idea of two people who have known each other in one aspect realizing they just might work out in other aspects, too. This trope can be hard to pull off in my opinion; sometimes it can feel rushed or forced. Love Machine definitely didn't feel that way. I loved this sexy, funny and realistic tale of Keaton and Slate. Keaton is someone I could absolutely, 100%, without a doubt relate to. She is funny, genuine and smart. I could see myself hanging out with her at a party and just having a great time. I liked her sense of self-awareness as well; she wasn't shy about who she was and what she needed. Slate. Holy hot, Slate. I loved him from start to finish. He's smart, sexy and fun. He's exactly what Keaton needs, even if they don't really recognize that at first. I was absolutely captivated with him and couldn't have stopped falling for him if I tried. The connection between these two was evident from the start. I loved seeing how their relationship blossomed; it felt incredibly authentic. I laughed along with them and I swooned, too. I enjoyed their relationship both in the bedroom and out. I think they worked together emotionally and physically really well. Friends to lovers isn't a new trope. But this book felt new to me. The plot worked, the writing flowed well. The supporting cast of characters added some extra fun to this book and helped our hero and heroine when they needed it. This book was fun, sexy and totally believable. I was hooked from the beginning and read it in one sitting with a smile on my face. Kendall Ryan is one of my favorite authors and books like this remind me why that is. I adored this book and would absolutely recommend it.

    Loved It!

Keaton and Slate are bwst friends. The kind that can tell one another anything, and who do. It's a special relationship they both cherish. Best friends who become so much more. And, it makes sense. The people who know the real you and hang out anyway. The people who you could have fun with, trapped in a well, having a bad day, stuck in traffic...those are the relationships that stick. I loved this as, I think, I can relate to it as I did the opposite, the reverse in my real life. My best friend is an ex... so the idea of falling for the best friend, the one person you trust...I get it. It works both ways and it gives it an authenticity. Friends, the ones who know everything about you, who know how ro make the hard times better, who know what will make you laugh, and cry... they are the best. And, in this case, the best friend becomes the person you can't live without. Such a fun, hot ride from friends to so much more, with a believable connection. I definitely enjoyed and recommend this title.
