A new favorite in the band

When I read Our Song, JD was my favorite of the Widler men. And I really wanted their album. Then I read Heart Strings, I mean of course Craig with his tragic past and flaws became my favorite. And I wanted their next album, even though country cross-over isn't my musical preferences. But they have nothing on TJ, he's a party boy, he's handsome, he's driven, he has his head firmly lodged up his a$$. I adored TJ, had sympathy for TJ, wanted him to look at me the way he looks at Norah. Then I wanted to smack that man upside the head. He's stupidly stubborn and needs to learn to communicate with his words! And then he melted me with the single most romantic gift I think I have ever heard of. Seriously it's heart melting, and it even brought Norah out of her stubborn shell (he deserved the big freeze out, he really did). Norah has some serious heartache in her past, it's shattering. But it sets her on the right path to being the right woman for TJ. She is fierce, and loyal, and about as stubborn as he is. I love that this series is not all from the same time frame. Its been a few years since Heart Strings, and even more since Our Song. I get to see how the other guys are faring, how their lives have progressed. I love reading about them and their growth as a band. Actually reading TJ's progression from being a front-man to a real vocalist was perfect. Showed real growth of character, and completely added to his stubborn determined charm. (his real charm, not that "charming" front he put on before to get the audience screaming and the girls to sleep with him). I was given an advanced copy to review. But that's not what kept me up way past my bedtime reading this. I have had a hard time putting any of the books in this series down. I am pulled into their lives. I cheer for them, I get angry at them, and I want to buy their albums! I am looking forward to Music and Lyrics.

    Love the Wilder Boys!

Wilder's Reckless Bad Boy TJ Hewlitt's story delivers! When life in the fast lane catches up with him and leaves TJ severely injured, Norah Davidson enters the picture. Meeting Norah at the worst time of his life proves a challenge for their growing attraction - especially since she's at a low point in her career. Love, love, love this series and the Nashville setting, especially with the musical backdrop. Can't wait for more!
