    Amazing

Trigger warning for some people, there are scenes and talking of abuse (sexual, physical, and emotional). Commander Sylvan asks for help from a kindred that others look down on for his kindred ability. He is one of the M-Switch Kindred, which means he can switch bodies with another male for a short period of time. Others are distrustful of them because they fear them. However, Reeve is needed for a very important mission. He switches into another mans body on a different planet. He intends to destroy some of the technology they have so they do not try and take over other planets. However, Reeve realizes that this planet is the complete opposite of what he is used to, instead of protecting and cherishing their females, they treat them like slaves and abuse them. Reeve is quite taken with his hosts wife Nallah, she has been badly abused by her husband and doesn't understand why he is being so nice since he woke up from his coma. The longer Reeve stays there, the more feelings he starts to develop for Nallah, but she belongs to someone else. Can Reeve complete his mission and save the girl? Kindred Tales

Evangeline Anderson - Loving A Stranger: A Kindred Tales Novel (Brides of the Kindred) A interesting twist on the main type of Kindred Warriors we have encountered, the hero, Reeve, is SM M-Switch Kindred. Shunned by many because they are able to enter into the minds and bodies of other they are also known as snatchers. Reeve is surprised to be summoned by Commander Sylvan for an important mission only he can do. He must take over the mind and body of a high ranking elite member of the government of Hascion Five. A race of males who treat women and animals abominably and plan on using their new wormhole technology to conquer other planets and societies. An exciting, heart wrenching, at times shocking read that keeps readers turning pages and on their toes through the book. There is a warning in the beginning of the book as it does contain some subjects (rape, abuse, cruelty) that could be difficult for some women to encounter. The cruelty of these males did not stop with just the females but with many defenseless life forms and I found I had to skip through those passages. In the end it was satisfying to see evil once again being conquered, meet great new characters (Reeve and Nallah) and get lost in the amazing World of the Kindred .

    Stranger

It us always entertaining to read a Kindred novel as they are all different. It is great to have a different type of switch kindred story from a male point of view and how they evolve through the plot to obtain their goals. Pure escapism!
