    Fantastic

A fantastic story. A very unique storyline and fun entertaining characters made this a very entertaining read! Britt Steele is the oldest of the Steele brothers and he has a true passion for wildlife conservation. His latest find is the elusive red wolf pack he has found just off Steele land. He's not worried since the neighboring land is owned by is friend and mentor Barbara. When Barbara unexpectedly passes away the land is left to her daughter Miranda "Randi" Shepherd. Randi is a strong willed woman and she's determined to save her quirky little bar in town by selling off the land that was left to her by her mother. Britt tries everything he can to convince Randi to sell the land to him and the two spend lots of time together. As they really get to know each other attraction flares but will the land deal come between them?? I've loved this series so far and can't wait for more. I definitely recommend this one.

    Loving Deep by Tracey Devlyn

Loving Deep by Tracey Devlyn It's a series about brothers. Each book can be read alone, but it can get a bit confusing to keep them straight at times if you haven't read the previous books. But that's just background for each of the stories which has one brother at the core with a romance and adventure. Bottom line is that they stand for each other and family when necessary and isn't that the best type of family to read about? A suspense novel, fast moving, and with a bit of romance. I really like the southern mother ruling her boys. An inspiration. I am not a violent person. Oh, but I wanted to do real physical harm to that Ito guy and the ring leader Norwood. Why do some people have to be mean and manipulating? Those ants were timely and used well. Excerpt: “... he paused in the doorway to see if he’d found his quarry. Dressed in bootcut jeans and a white V-neck tee, Randi Shepherd bent over to pick up one of the numerous boxes lined up by the back door. Britt decided she looked amazing from all directions—north, south, east, and west. “Bend with your knees.” The box she was in the process of lifting rattled, and she set it back down with a clank. “What are you doing here?” Her long dark-blond hair was somewhat tamed in one of those messy ponytail bun things women liked to wear. The style revealed her slender neck, wide cheekbones, and delicate jawline. Dangly gold earrings glinted in the fluorescent light, and olive-green hiking shoes capped off her ensemble. She was a tempting combination of feminine tomboy. The kind a man like him wouldn’t fear breaking in half or mussing up. “Having lunch with my brother.” She brushed loose strands of hair off her forehead, leaving a small streak of dirt above her right eyebrow. Britt ached to brush away the smudge with his thumb and soothe the area with a long line of soft kisses. Would she gasp and smack the [] out of him? Or would she tremble and whisper more? “Is there something I can do for you? Or were you planning to stuff me in my own cooler?” “Nothing so hypothermic.” He shoved his hands into his jean pockets. “I understand Grady’s not here. Thought I’d give you a hand.” “You want to help me? Why?” “Despite our current predicament, I’ve nothing against you, Randi. I’ve been in the bar and coffee shop many times, and you’re always here, working. You’re going at it as hard as anyone else. Harder, actually.” The more he spoke the wider her eyes got. Shit. He’d said far too much. But he wasn’t done. More words were forming on his tongue. Words he hoped would set her at ease and release the tension knotting his guts. “Even the strongest need help, from time to time.” Instead of making things right between them, he’d managed to shock her into speechlessness. Brilliant, Steele. Truly your best one-liner with a woman yet. Freaking moron.” Excerpt From: Devlyn, Tracey. “Loving Deep."

    Loved Britt and Randi’s story!

Britt has been the acting patriarch for his family and now finds himself trying to save endangered red wolves that are living in his area. Randi’s mother was Britt’s mentor for wildlife rescue. The two of them have to fight some truly evil people who love to hunt animals, no matter their endangered status. The suspense was greatly written and the love story was great to watch unfold. I hope there really aren’t people like the hunters in this book or, if there are, they are brought to justice!

    Suspenseful and fast-paced. Fantastic!

I highly recommend this book. It was fantastic. The suspenseful plot and intriguing family dynamic had me turning each page, craving more and more of the story. Britt seemed so ordinary and passive at first, until you really got to know him. I loved peeling back his layers. The plot was magnificent. Tracey Devlyn's writing was like a labyrinth with so many twists and turns, and it was very clever. I adore clever. As far as the series goes, I have read the prequel and this book, and had no trouble following along, or falling in love with Steele Ridge. In fact, I want more, so I'm going to be checking out the other books ASAP. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

    Contemporary Romance

Britt and Randi – wow – what a story! Britt is the oldest of the Steele brothers and has always been there for the family. He works hard as a handy-man but in so doing he has put some of his dreams on hold indefinitely. When he returns from a conference he finds out that his mentor has died, the land he thought would be his someday may not be his after all and the woman he has an interest in holds much of his future in her hands. With an endangered species at risk he feels he must find a way to get his hands on the land that Randi now owns. Randi runs Blues, Brews and Books – a multi-purpose establishment – that has done well but may go under if a solution is not found. With her mother’s many acres of land to sell she sees a way to save what she loves. With an offer on the table for the land will she sell to a group that might or might not be on the up and up or will she wait for Britt to purchase her mother’s land. With trouble in the wings the Steele family and their friends come together to save the day and while they do so Britt and Randi explore the potential of a future together. This is the first book I have read by this author and it will not be my last. The story was well crafted and definitely worth the read. It makes sense without reading the other books in the series BUT the bits and pieces shared about the rest of the Steele family do make me want to read the rest of the books in this series. Thank you to the author for the copy of this book. This is my honest review. 4.5 Stars
