  • disappointed

The blurb on the cover had me very interested, but I was most disappointed.. Cole and Allison are soul mates, so we are led to believe in the first chapter. Cole is quick to help anyone who is being abused , like his friend Timothy who is gay and weak. So I was amazed in the way he treated Allison , whom he professed to love. He abandoned her and jumped into the bed of a harlot for 11 years, never once thinking of Allison until his father becomes ill and Cole goes back to his home town. In the meantime, Allison struggles by herself, and sets up a greenhouse and makes a life for herself.. Her sister is a flake and no help at all. This story ended to abruptly , like the author ran out of words, Actually all characters were very weak in this novel. I will not read any more of this authors books, even tho they are set in the Okanagan Valley.
