    Amazing

This is an amazing story filled with characters that are flawed, complicated, and undeniably lovable. It's a highly emotional story as Neve deals with her past and her insecurities and Rory deals with family expectations. Neve and Rory first meet as pen pals while he's deployed to Afghanistan. Her letters are funny, entertaining, and just a little bit naughty. They are exactly what he needs to help him get through some very hard days. While Rory's home for a short leave, Neve comes to his family pub and helps him live out one of the fantasies he's shared in his letters. After a misunderstanding, Neve goes running. Rory knows he will do whatever it takes to spend more time with her! This one should go on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Love this book!

“All I Need Is You is an emotionally gripping story of second chances and two flawed characters who are perfect to heal each other. I couldn’t put it down!”—Katie Rose, author of The Heat of the Moment

Pretty good, Female lead bothered me a bit

I liked this book; not quite as much as the first book in the series, so I bumped it down a star, but I say it's a bit more like 3.5 stars. I liked that Neve was trying to change, but her actions were too childish for my liking, so I had a difficult time relating to her, and I thought she was intelligent, but she made some seriously bad choices; especially in regards to Adam, such a stupid decision to do what she did. I also didn't like that she's so self conscious, and how she doesn't really respect herself. I suppose that not being able to connect with Neve was why I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first. I do enjoy the writing, and I liked the whole premise for this book. I like the connecting through letters scenario, and I liked the scenes with Rory dealing with PTSD. Rory was adorable, and I really liked him; except for him sort of using Neve till he's ready to find an "acceptable" woman to marry. Neve and Rory do have great chemistry, and the intimate scenes were definitely spicy. Rory was a sweetheart to take care of Neve when she was ill even when she kept trying to push him away; Rory knew what he wanted and he went after it. I loved that Neve was a gymnast/dancer, and that Rory was a soldier. I also loved the ending. I didn't love how Neve's past was thrown in our faces all the time. There are mentions of the couple from the first book, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary to read it first, but it's nice to have the back story, and if I remember correctly Neve and Rory have a bit part in the previous book. I would recommend this to other readers, and in the end I was interested till the end, so that's a plus in my book.

Hoping for a book about Nate!!!

This is the second installment in the Loving You series. After reading the first book, Loving you is easy, I was very much looking forward to Neve and Rory's story. The Neve, I was expecting was this spunky, witty, confident girl. Sadly for me, I found her lacking the self worth I expected her to have. She was a hard character for me to relate to. I could not understand her choices, why she thought and/or acted the way she did.. and at times this really frustrated me. I don't agree with, what I took to be her whole "sex solves everything" theory and found it got a bit tiresome of watching her berating herself after for being "that girl." Rory was a good character. He proved himself to be caring and I loved how he seemed to make sure to show Neve that she was worth a lot in his eyes. I quite enjoy this authors writing style and I really hope Neve's brother Nate gets a book... there's a line or so in the epilogue I believe.. that makes me think that he just might! I look forward to reading more from her. ** I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

    Simply LOVED this book.

In All I Need Is You, Wendy S. Marcus has once again written an emotional story with likeable characters, who fight for the chance to become the people they want to be and for the love they ultimately want. Ever since I read the first book in the Loving You Series, Loving You Is Easy, I’ve been patiently waiting on the story of Rory and Neve. I knew going in something was really up between these two. I just had no idea how their story would play out. If you haven’t read Loving You Is Easy, don’t worry. Rory and Neve stand on their own. As I’ve mentioned, All I Need Is You is emotional, but it’s also steamy (without being XXX rated) and for me, it did not disappoint. In fact, it was more than I expected it to be. Rory McRoy, a twenty-three-year-old Boston Southie is on his final tour of duty in Afghanistan. Six weeks into a year long stent, he becomes pen pals with Neve James. Neve is a twenty-four-year-old gymnastics instructor/adagio performer. Their letters and emails are hot and fantasy filled. Rory isn't what you usually look for or dream about in a romance book hero, at least not physically. But if you get over yourself and truly look at who he is on the inside (which is what love is all about) he's amazing. Rory is a really good guy who would do anything to protect Neve and make her happy. Make no mistake, I’m a fan of Rory and I have been since I first heard about him. However, for me, All I Need Is You is all about Neve. Neve was very surprising, to say the least. I knew she was a “fun” girl. I just didn't realize how much she liked to party or the reasons behind her destructive ways. And when I say destructive, that’s probably an understatement. Sometimes you have to lose it all to rediscover who you are. Rory and Neve fell for each other through letters and online communication. When things for these two go south, it's the back to basics approach that reconnects them. While this is a happy ever after story, it does contain a situation that has the potential to turn dark. Wendy handled the situation perfectly, to show the person Neve use to be, versus the person she’s trying to become. There are a couple of secondary characters in this book that I’m hoping to have stories written about. Thus, I have my fingers crossed. **Received a copy from Random House - Loveswept in exchange for an honest unbiased opinion.**
