    Thanks for your feedback!

It's no lie, I will be a loyal fan of this series!

Savanah is trying to live a normal life. Then she meets someone and here is where the trouble starts. The man that she meets is not all that he seems. Or maybe I should say that he is more than who he seems. I won't give anything away but these two are great together. At least they would be if there weren't so many lies and other loyalties that are tested. These outside forces just won't rest until Savanah is out of the picture and her love interest is unhappy and all theirs. It was dramatic, parts were dangerous, and complex. Almost everyone seems to either have an agenda or are not being true to themselves. I do not just want to read the next book, I HAVE to. I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. It was intriguing and I was easily hooked.

    Cliffhanger but I enjoyed it!

Loyalty and Lies is shrouded in mystery and secrets. Wanting a fresh start away from a painful past, Savannah (Ana) moves across the country to Oregon for college. Unbeknownst to her, she escaped right into a tangled nest of mystery and intrigue that would draw her in. She meets Jackson in a couple of her classes and they begin a sweet courtship of sorts. Yet it all falls apart when secrets begin unraveling. I won’t go into details. I don’t want to spoil the story for anyone but let me just say it was heartbreaking. Now before I go any further, I do want to mention it is a cliffhanger. But books one through three are out. I enjoyed the book; I found it well-written with complex characters. Ana’s story is so completely heartbreaking and I found myself on the edge of my seat watching her heal and just praying that Jackson wouldn’t screw up. Then drama ensues and I just want to reach through my tablet and hug her. My heart also hurt for Jackson and the choices that he had to make. Now if you’re looking for super-hot sexy times, this isn’t the book for you. It’s more about the angst then smut. There are some sex scenes, but they aren’t super graphic. I appreciated that, I don’t think all NA books need to be about graphic sex. The side characters add an interesting cast of characters to the book. I loved Elena, Ana’s roommate. She’s a hilarious Latina who tries her hardest to draw Ana out and back her up. Now I have what’ll be an unpopular opinion, I almost feel sorry for Briony. I think she’s been spoiled by her dad and brother all her life and it’s probably ruined her. I wonder if she got out from under their thumbs if she couldn’t be redeemed. Braiden, however, is nonredeemable. I wanted to smack the crap out of him but even through the pages I was scared of him. Ugh, this book….it’s just ugh. It’s intense. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series to see what happens.
