    Sweet!

This book has tons of sweetness that I think I got a cavity just from reading these delicious pages. We first met Josie in Sarah and Bones book , a sister that Sarah and their brother Scott had been searching for losing track of her because she didn't want to be found. Or did she? Josie explains what life was like for her after leaving their abusive parents many years ago. Jed Moon and Josie have a history, that started shortly after Josie left those abusive parents, sparks fly just like they did five years ago when Josie appears at .Sarah's door to make amends. Josie also finds out a sweet surprise that she was afraid of for her son Hail. Moon earns his prospect title for the Dark Knights with his suggestion of starting the Young Knights, a mentoring program that Jed starts to help young kids not make the same mistakes he made as a young adult. Josie gets her dream shop of gingerbread, and their is even talk about dipping fries in milkshakes. This story has a sweetness that will leave you grabbing another sugar cookie just to get your fix, with lots of laughs in between.

    ***5 ‘Gingerbread’ Stars***

***5 ‘Gingerbread’ Stars*** And she’s done it again… I don’t know how she does it, but with each book it’s harder and harder to pick a ‘favorite’ amongst the Whiskey clan and their extended and quite eclectic family. The goodness, even when things aren’t so good, overfloweth and only makes me want MORE. Jed and Josie. These two I adored. Jed is, and has always been, a good man. He may have done sketchy things, but they were for good reasons and I loved that he owned everything he was and strived to be better every day. The man’s heart is huge and when you add in all that charisma? Well, the man is simply lethal. Josie. I’ll admit to have some mixed feelings towards her going in to this book, but it didn’t take long before I ended up loving her. She’s sweet, sassy and has a golden heart, and watching as she took the steps to reconnect with her siblings and open herself up to new friendship and a huge, and nosey, family was a lot of fun. The journey to Jed and Josie’s HEA was all kinds of sweet, smexy and even ovary exploding goodness. The connection between Jed and Josie jumped off the page from the moment they reconnected and I loved watching as they got to know each other again. Their bantering was fun, their heart to hearts made mine melt and the smexy was HAWT. Hail, Josie’s little boy, definitely helped push things along and had me smiling and laughing the entire time. There is a little roadblock in their road, something I guessed at early on, but one that was handled well and I love how everything turned out for them in the end. I swear, with each book in this series I fall more and more in love with the Whiskey clan, the Dark Knights and all of the people they call their own, which makes it really hard to pick a favorite amongst all of these unique men and women, but that just goes to show what an amazing writer the author is and why I’m such a #fangirl. But as far as new characters, Diesel has definitely peaked my interest and I’m crossing my toes that he’ll be around more and then there is Dixie. I’ve loved this woman since first meeting her and thought I had an idea of which of the men would win her heart, but now I’m not so sure ~ the options have multiplied ~ so, I’m thrilled that her book is next and cannot wait to see who her forever is! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

    Love Josie & Moon!

Both Josie and Jed (Moon) had horrible childhoods, Josie more so than Moon. One night at a field party when Josie was 18, had a lasting effect on Moon. Fast foward several years later, after being on her own and wanting to reconnect with her siblings, Josie went to her sister's home on Christmas day. Little did she know, her life would change for the better. Can past hurts and a fierce love help Josie and Moon get the happily ever after they have both dreamt about? This is a heart warming story about love, forgiveness and second chances. You will not be disappointed! I thorough enjoyed Mad About Moon!

Josie and Jed- Second chance romance at its best!

Moon and Josie wow!! I think the phrase “I love you to the Moon and back” can certainly fit for this romance. It really was a second chance romance. As this can be a stand alone book, I feel it is best if you start with Tru Blue and continue on. You will find the same names popping up in this stand alone series. Both Moon (Jed) and Josie had their own demons to beat. Jed’s family fell apart when his dad lost his job, died and his mom was an alcoholic. He did everything in his power to help his family keep food on the table and survive in the trailer they called home. Josie came from an abusive childhood. Her bother, Scott and sister , Sarah escaped but she was left to deal with her parents. She ran away with Brian who made her finish high school and keep on track. Once she was old enough they had a loving relationship but Brian died young leaving Josie and their son Hail on their own. Move forward, Sarah and her son to be husband Dr. Bones Whiskey volunteer at a homeless shelter. Who does Sarah see at the shelter, Josie and Hail. Sarah reached out to Josie but Josie at that time wasn’t ready. Jed being a prospect for the Dark Knights (a motorcycle club) volunteered to watch over Josie. Why? Well, Josie and Jed had a one night stand and Jed had never been able to forget Josie. The book had a lot of twists, turns, tears and love. Josie gets a second chance at love again with Moon and some interesting events happen during the way with her son Hail. It was wonderful to see them reconnect. It was fantastic to see Josie reconnect with her brother and sister and find her HEA!!! Once again, a fantastic book by Melissa. I am looking forward to Taming My Whiskey later on in the year!!

    Fabulous Book

Another fantastic book by Melissa Foster. Moon and Josie spent one night together many years ago. They connected years later after Josie fell on hard times. This book takes you in an emotional rollercoaster. I had such a lump when Josie ran across the street to finally speak with Sarah. OMG when Scotty approached Josie in the book store i did the ugly cry. I don't know how Melissa does it, she tugs at your best strings. I didn't expect the ending but was so happy about it.
