  • There is always hope.

The subtitle of this book is what caught my eye - "Discovering Unexpected Gifts in Brokeness" - and Sara Ward's words did not disappoint! Although I have not lost a child, I have a dear friend who has. We all will experience loss, in whatever form, at some point. We need the reminder that God is good, even when our circumstances are not, and that He gives good gifts to his children - yes, even in brokenness. 15 different gifts are addressed in this book, which is divided into three sections (before, after, & moving on), each very different. I don't want to give too much away, except to say, if you (or a friend) has lost a child or a loved one, walked along someone battling cancer, or faced a failed adoption, then this book could be a part of your healing process - and remembering that there is always, always hope.

    Thanks for your feedback!
