    Made For Us

A great start to a new series by Samantha Chase, left me wanting more of the Shaughnessy family. Aiden, has been the leader of the pack since the untimely death of his mother. He has had no time to date, while helping his dad raise his younger siblings. Until, Zoe, interior designer has arrived after leaving Arizona after her mother died. Her one rule is never to date a client, until Aiden, construction owner has come along. The banter between these two will leave you smiling for a long time. The chemistry between these two are hot, but can they both let their walls down to enjoy life. A perfect beach read, that will take you away to the North Carolina coast, with storms brewing in the romance, family drama and weather department. I highly recommend this book for your summer reading. Can't wait for the next book to come out. I was provided a copy of this book from Net Galley for an honest review.

Amazing series and each book has me sucked in! This was no different. Couldn't put it down! Loved Zoe and her personality and I loved Aidan and his values for helping his family out! Can't wait to see more into the lives of the rest of the family!

    Solid start to the series

I am rather proud of my Irish heritage, so I always tend to give books with Irish names a second or third look. And I am really glad that I did with this book. We have a large family, full of overachievers all set in their ways. I think seeing each of the brothers fall in love is going to be a lot of fun. The story starts with Zoe Dalton, a recent transplant from Arizona. She moved to North Carolina after the death of her mother, to honor her mother and do something her mother had always wished she had done - live on the beach. Zoe is an interior designer and she gets tossed into the deep end when her boss reassigns her the difficult but lucrative Shaughnessy account - after having to fire the previous designer. So, you know... no pressure. Aidan Shaughnessy is the oldest of the Shaughnessy siblings, and maintains the closest ties to his father and siblings. Aidan has been the rock, keeping the family together, and as such has become a bit - let's call it set in his ways. He keeps an iron control and rigorous, demanding perfectionist schedule - for himself and everyone around him. When Aidan and Zoe meet for the first time, she doesn't back down in the face of his demands. Their attraction to each other is mutual, yet they each fight it with varying degrees of success. When a Tropical Storm forces them into confined quarters, they finally address the issue. But it's definitely not smooth sailing with these two very strong willed characters. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the twists and turns of the plot. Just about the time that I thought the author would go for the cliched move, she would throw another curve ball. There were some fun secondary characters, and I can't wait to see where the author takes the brothers in the next book. I gave this book a solid 3 stars. Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebook Casablanca for the opportunity to read and review the book.

Exceptionally written and rewarding to read.

The Shaughnessy family is a series I will be following to the last sibling. Made for Us by Samantha Chase was made for me. Ms. Chase has written a love story that is exceptionally written and rewarding to read. At the heart of this story is the strong bond of family. The upset of the suddenly death of the matriach, who was the glue of the family has a different affect on each and every family member. Especially Aidan. Made for Us is Aidan's story. Aidan has a good heart. He cares deeply and for that reason he has closed himself off from finding love. The death of his mother has broken his heart and he feels that he has to take over as the nurturer after her loss. Little does he know his mom has kept the promise she made to him at fourteen She has found the perfect woman to mend his heart. But Aidan is not sure he wants to set himself up for the pain. I fell for sensitive Aidan from the very first page. The bond he and mother shared even transcended her death. Maybe that's why she led him to Zoe. Gorgeous story. I received an ARC of Made for Us in exchange for an honest review.
