Short clean read leaving the reader wanting more

The author shows how hard it was for women back in time to be able to hold their head up being proud of who they are and what they want to do. Not every women only dream was to be a wife and mother but few got the chance you had to go against everything you were bought up to believe. What a women was allowed to do and not do. It was a very hard trying time for women. Ms. Gracey gives a believable story with a wonderful plot of wanting it all and doing your best to get it as you overcome one hurtle another stands in your way. Can one woman have her dream job and still have and keep a family happy? First she must get through college and then find a man that is open minded enough to let her live her dream. Easy you might think but not in that time most would have turned their backs on her ashamed at all she has become why women silently cheer her on giving them hope just maybe they can dream to. Bernadette is going to make her dreams come true with one thing in her way (more than one but let’s take it one step at a time.) even if she passes her studies it is still a man’s world. In the state she lives in even if she does pass the bar she won’t be able to work as a lawyer. With her dreams left in the dust one man comes through the tears, one man who believes women should be treated more equal. Edward is her last hope at making her dreams come true in a man’s world. He is men above men for sure but what is he holding back? Can she work her love to have her job and a family too and can she give him what he needs to free him from his past? I thought this was well written giving a wonderful book I could not put down. I found myself very invested. This is a short clean read giving the read such peace for women and the men that love them. I thought this was well written with wonderful characters you can relate to. I felt the author did a great job in showing how hard it was for women and how the love of one man can make all your dreams come true. It was really a lovely delightful clean read.
