  • A feel-good holiday romance

This was an extremely sweet, feel-good holiday romance between single mum Chrissy and mall Santa Dash. And with lots of charm, likable characters, and engaging moments it certainly left me feeling very contented. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

  • Sweet Clean Christmas Romance!

This is a sweet, funny, and a clean magical Christmas Novella. Dash and Chrissy are both great characters. They are perfect together. Rudy, Chrissy's son, is such a great smart kid. This is definitely a feel good romance, and I enjoyed it.

  • Great Holiday Read From Beginning To End

Dash gives me an impression of an unseasoned professional. Not quite like the movies and that shows a spark of realism. Chrissy shows some of the hard choices that single parents sometimes have to make – another show of realism. Loved how the author seemed to play with our main character’s names – very creative. This whole story showcases her imagination and sense of humor. I think that if you’ve never read her books before than you’ll find this a great introduction. Especially if you like an author that gets you to laugh. She also seems to have a devilish streak. Even though there are plenty of laughs our author creates something unique and at times very serious. It’s one last piece of realism that has a concept that might be interesting to some that have lived in the “system”. This was one instance where I hated seeing the Table of Contents. It shows that our time is fleeting but it was great while it lasted – which is great at this time of year. I have one question for Ms. Robinson though – will we have something similar for Easter? I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

  • Cute and Fun Holiday Read

Thank you to NetGalley, Author Collective 20, and Sarah Robinson for providing me with a free copy of this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. This story was so sweet and adorable! I loved the dynamic between Chrissy, Dash, and Chrissy's son Rudy! I really liked that despite the fact that it was just a short, Christmas novella it had a lovely romance that really had me rooting for the characters to be together. The story was full of some laugh out loud moments that were everything I was looking for in a quick, funny Christmas read. I just wish that the story had been a bit longer because it definitely left me wanting more. Chrissy as a character was great to read about. She is such a resilient and admirable person who is always just doing her best to be the best mom she can possibly be. I love that she always puts Rudy's needs and wants first and he is the most important thing in her life. The meeting between Rudy and Santa Dash is a sweet exchange and seemed like an excellent way of connecting the two separate storylines. Dash for his part is a charming, handsome man who is still trying to figure out his life. This just seems so realistic because truth be told, many people don't have their lives together in their twenties. However, he is a great fit for Chrissy and Rudy. I loved how Chrissy and Dash were able to connect and relate to one another in terms of their difficult pasts and tense relationships with their parents. This book really gave me great Hallmark movie vibes and I think could be easily adapted. It was a great way of getting me into the Christmas spirit and I highly recommend it if you've been looking for a cute holiday read to check out. I haven't read many other Christmas or Wintery books but this one definitely makes me try out some more! It was a great introduction to Sarah Robinson as an author and now I'm curious to check out more of her works. Rating: 4.25 stars Author: Sarah Robinson Genre: Light Contemporary, Holiday
