A sweet friends to lovers story

Sam and Lauren have been best friends since they were kids, both feeling more than friendship for the other, but never wanting to say anything for fear of rejection. Until Lauren’s wedding day when Sam can’t watch the girl he loves walk down the aisle to someone else, and Lauren can’t marry Brad when she can’t stop thinking it should be Sam. A sweet, though sad in the beginning, story of love and friendship and taking a chance on the future you want no matter what may come.

    Sweet new series!

Oh Ms. Lind! You continue to entertain me with your words. Marry Me, inspired by a country song.  Which I will admit, I am not a country fan, but I listened to this song a few times as I was reading.  It was a lovely song! This story of Sam and Lauren was sweet, it was steamy and it was a lovely story! Lauren was about to marry her college sweetheart, but something was holding her back.  Her childhood friend Sam was running through her thoughts and she knew she had to follow her heart. Sam has loved Lauren since they were children.  But he never confessed his feelings for her.  I could imagine his anguish when he was trying to be there for her at her wedding.  But he could only take so much. Sam and Lauren knew each other so well.  Sam knew to give Lauren the space she needed and Lauren knew when to grab what she wants. Ms. Lind writes the sweetest stories.  Sometimes you need an escape from your life, a breath of fresh air, and Ms. Lind delivers an escape from reality to the comforting words her stories.  I have been an avid follower of her's since her first book.  And I will continue to be! I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!!

    The Song Comes To Life

I love the song. I love the video. I love the book. I love how a three minute and twenty-five-second song came to life in this book. I love that the author gave these characters lives and gave them a complete story, not just Sam and Lauren but their friends and family too. There wasn't a lot of surprises if you have watched the video you know the ending, the angst was at the beginning but what I love is what got them there and what happens after. This was a well-written book about true soul mates that have shared a beautiful love since childhood. I could feel the heartbreak in this story but overall for me, this was a feel good, put a smile on my face type of book.

One click! You will not regret it!

5 Stars Review by Elizabeth Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog Samantha Lind has rendered me speechless with her exceptional new standalone, Marry Me. I devoured this book in a matter of hours! You will be hooked from page one. Sam and Lauren have danced around each other for years, never once admitting their true feelings. As time went on Lauren got engaged and Sam moved away to save his heart anymore heartbreak. With Sam back in town for Lauren’s wedding those feeling they have tried to hide may not stay hidden. My heart broke for Sam the first few chapters because he was so broken. When they both admitted their feelings after all these years, I was a bit teary. I really enjoyed watching, reading, as the two of them get their footing as a couple. I love that they did not rush into anything -- she just got out of a relationship. They had been waiting for the other forever so the slow burn of it was kinda like foreplay -- in a way. Samantha tells an incredible romantic story about two people, best friends, that finally found their way to each other. If you want to read a slow burn, sweet as candy, best friends to lovers, and everything in between romance, Marry Me is the one. Put your finger over the clicker on the mouse and one click! You will not regret it!

A True Follow Your Heart Story!

"I wouldn't change my decision for anything, because look where that got us. And I know who's held my heart for so many years. I feel complete when I'm with you." This was such a sweet story! One of unvoiced love, heartbreak, following your heart, and second chances. Sam Cole has been in love with her for years. Of course, she wouldn't know that since he never told her. They've been best friends since she moved across the street all those years ago. Now, his silence has led to this. Watching her walk down the aisle to a man that isn't him. Nope, he can't do it. He has to leave. It's torture. He has to let her go - he's lost his chance. Right? Lauren Kramer has been in love with her best friend, Sam, for as long as she can remember. But, he doesn't feel the same, or if he did, he's never shown it. Now, her big day is here. Her wedding to Brad. He's a good man and she loves him. But, is he really the ONE? Standing at the back of the aisle, she only has a few yards to decide - does she keep walking forward, or take a chance on "what if"? I enjoyed this story! It makes you think of all the "what ifs" in your life that you took a chance on, or the ones that you regret not exploring. This was a great start to this series and I can't wait for the next one!
