  • Really?

While the book is OK, the numbers of soldiers seem very fluid and don't seem to cause any real emotional problems. Also, the twist at the end feels cheap, this close to the end.

  • Master Mage

An heroic saga! The storyline unravels smoothly, the personalities of the people are clearly defined and it leaves a good vibe as you finish the reading. If the author has any more in his repertoire I look forward to reading them.

Having read all the books in this series I should say that you need a better proof readrr.

  • Too corny, not the worst for sure but not good.

He is still a slave and it just isn't believable that he would remain loyal to Farlan. The prose has certainly improved greatly, but I still had to quit reading it because the series started with terrible grammar More so I couldn't buy into a story where he would risk death to resist the ,a little girl he was fond of used as a hostage tattooed as a slave and becoming an unthinking loyal vassal of the queen. It just wasn't plausible in the beginning and it still isn't. It was just to much for me to buy into and I'm usually not to fussy about that.

    Thanks for your feedback!
