  • Awesome!

I loved this book, and subsequently the whole Maze Runner series. It had me hooked completely! It's nice to read a story with twists and turns, where the last moment of the final book is when it all makes sense. It wasn't until those last few moments in Kill Order did it make sense. Mind you it did help that I read the prequel last! But I found it better reading it that way (and I have re-read it many times in various orders)

  • An action packed finale

As the final book in the trilogy, this one follows immediately after the end of Scorch Trials. The reader is thrown immediately into the action as Thomas and his friends discover they have been rescued by WICKED yet again. The tension between WICKED and the Gladers is high and increases after they receive the news that not everyone is immune to the Flare. The desperation and frustration of Thomas is vivid as he battles with the decision to escape from WICKED, even if it means losing some of his friends along the way. As Thomas and the other Gladers discover more about WICKED’s lies, the desperation of the Gladers to stop WICKED increases, and the reader feels the sense of urgency they feel. In a thrilling end to the trilogy, Thomas fights for survival in a world that is slowly going insane. The emotions run high as the reader connects with Thomas in his final battle with WICKED. Packed with action and tension, readers will not be disappointed as the Maze Runner trilogy is brought to a close.
