    Great Historical Romance

Meddle In A Marquess's Affairs by Tammy Andresen is an awesome historical romance. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Andresen has provided readers with a well-written book. The characters are lovable and a great fit for this story. Rex agrees to help his friend Max deliver a message and ends up shot for his trouble. Camille broke her engagement and was kicked out of her home when her fiance tried to force his attentions on her sister. Rex and Camille's story is full of drama, humor, spice and a little bit of action. I enjoyed reading Meddle In A Marquess's Affairs and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Meddle In A Marquess's Affairs is book 2 of the How To Reform A Rake Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from a third party. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    Wonderful Story

Love this new series but no surprise because Tammy is one of my favorite authors. Plus, don't we all love to see how to reform a rake? They do make the best husbands, or so I'm told!! The five heroes in this collection are all drawn together by a gypsy and some tarot cards she dealt to each of them with a prophecy of what would was to come. Raised in one of London's worst areas, Lord Reginald, the Marquess of Highwater, had only by chance inherited his title, but at over six feet and very muscular, he could fight with the best of them. His friend Max needed him to help severely injure a man that had dared to try to take advantage of his wife. But he ended up getting shot and Max took him to his home to heal where is wife's sister Camille lived with them. Camille was determined to help him get well. Not to give anything else away, this is such a charming story with characters you cannot help feel sympathy for the struggles they have endured. But happiness may come unexpectedly when Camille meddles in the Marquess's affairs! Be still my heart.

A suspenseful Regency Romance with humour

Some people just cannot help themselves and Camille Ducat is one of them. When Rex Baluster is carried bleeding into her brother-in-law's house, she takes it upon herself to tend to his wounds until such time as the doctor can get there. Camille doesn't know about the bet taken with the gypsy woman and walks straight into a fateful encounter with Rex. The plot, whilst somewhat suspenseful has all the makings of a good Regency romance, including a rogue who finds himself well on the way to reforming after meeting his Angel. The story is a standalone and has romance, humour and the promise of things to come. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

You will be on the edge of your seat

This series is just magical and makes me smile and laugh when it comes to what the men call the curse. These two are a perfect match and you know it from the moment they meet. Love hit them hard and fast and that’s what protected her from evil. I was shocked by how far her mother would go to get what she wants. But the scenes at the party were amazing! Camille put on a strong front for her sister, but she feared she would pick another horrible man. I loved her from the start, but when she told Chase what she would have done to him, she became a favorite. She wasn’t going to do what her mother wanted no matter what. Rex knew his heart was lost the moment he saw her. Even stuck in bed injured he could charm anyone. I loved how he didn’t bat an eye at going after Michael and was going to make him pay one way or another. The ending with the gypsy was amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens next after that.
