    Cute Story.

Lily and Aiden were each others first loves. They drifted apart. Life got in the way. When Aiden and Lily unexpectedly meet again the sparks are still there. What happens next is anyone's guess. I loved this book. The characters held my attention throughout the book. Did not want the story to end. Excellent read. Was gifted an ARC of Meet Meet at the Beach for an honest review.

    Meet Me At The Beach

Meet Me At The Beach is an all encompassing story about relationships, community and second chances with a couple of strong main characters. Aiden is facing unexpected changes in his life reluctantly. A reluctant return to his small home town brings him back to Lily and the memories he has of her. Lily is living the life she has always wanted to, and she has mixed feelings about Aiden's temporary return. There is a strong attraction between them that hasn't gone away over the years...but they both might still want different things, in more ways than one. I liked that Lily and Aiden had a distant past together with an attraction that was still there, and the maturity with which they handled everything made them real to me. They weren't drawn into a long standing family feud, they just were who they were, at the same time struggling a bit to move forward. Watching them come together, grow together and find possible solutions to issues was a heart felt, believable plot. There is a lot going on on their small island, from family dynamics to development that threatens to change the way their small island is. It was interesting to be a part of this, see how they dealt with it all, and at the same time wondering what a solution could be. I liked how V. K. laced everything together. I am partial to small town, island settings on the ocean, so Meet Me At The Beach really worked for me! With just enough conflict and turmoil to keep things interesting, it was a well flowing read. I'd recommend Meet Me At The Beach to any romance reader!

An awesome book that left me with that feel good smile when I finished. Excellent writing and a pace that has the story moving along nicely. Amazing characters fill the small town and should lead to more interesting stories around this small island town. When Aiden Flynn's baseball career comes crashing down around him, the last place he thought he would end up was his hometown of Seashell Bay. After leaving home and an abusive father 14 years ago going back had never entered his mind until his brother told him he needed him. The small town is divided regarding a new development. Half the town wants it to stay the sleepy little town it's always been. The other obviously wants to see it grow. The land that was left to Aiden when his mother died is the key to the deal. Will he sell and side with his father and brother or hold on to it to satisfy the townspeople who want things the same. The fact that the one girl who has ever touched his heart, Lily Doyle, doesn't want the development won't come in to play. Nope. Not gonna happen.... I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I highly recommend this one to everyone.
