    Loved it

After an NFL career-ending knee injury, Alec Grayson is back in his hometown of Falcon, Alabama. When his career ended he found out who his true friends were as well as discovering a heartbreaking betrayal by his family. Now he lives his life alone never getting to close to anyone. Working his day job and coaching the quarterbacks at the local high school is enough for him. That is until Lilliana Hancock blow into his life. She's in Falcon trying to restore the family mansion and turn it into a B&B. After spending the last few years in NY as a struggling artist, she's ready for something new. When long ago crush Alec Grayson shows up at her door to do an inspection things really get crazy for both of them! I really loved this story! While there is a wonderful romance at the core of the story there is so much more. That's what is enjoyable about this series of books. If you haven't read the other books in the series, no problem. Each stands alone. The characters are great and the pace is perfect. Definitely a must read. I highly recommend it.

    Love this series

Oh, how I love this series. Each time I read one I think that it can’t get any better and then it does :) Poor Alec is so burned by his past that he’s shut himself off from everyone. He’s decided that it is easier not to engage than to take the chance on being used again. But that doesn’t stop him from feeling an attraction to Lilliana, who seems to hate him for some unknown reason. Lilliana is burdened by an interesting mix of fear, expectation and guilt. She’s back in Falcon and turning her family home into a B&B, although she’s an artist at heart. Add to that, being home puts her in close proximity to the guy who doesn’t remember their one night together in college … and he’s still just as sexy as ever, even if he does seem a whole lot colder. There’s a fantastic sub-plot with one of Alec’s players. It’s a good vehicle to not only help Lilliana and Alec get together, but it also helps bring Alec out of his shell and create relationships with others. He slowly starts opening up and it is a great thing to watch him learn to trust again. There were quite a few times in the beginning of this book that I just wanted these two to talk to one another. A lot of their troubles would have been avoided that way but once they start moving their way to a relationship those times became less and less. And I cheered so hard for them once they finally got things straightened out. I definitely hope Trentham isn’t done with this series - I just love her way with characters and plot. Her books are fun, fast reads with characters that just draw me in. Plus I really want to know what happens to some of the secondary characters we’ve gotten to know. Especially Whitey – that guy deserves a second chance and there is a moment in this story that I hope is Trentham hinting that she’s going to give him one. Excellent Series!!

I really enjoyed this addition to this series! I've given every book in this series 5 stars so far, and this one was just as excellent as the other books. I think the main reason I enjoyed this book was because I really liked Lilliana! She's quirky, sassy, and I like how she doesn't hide her thoughts; she did seem a bit too naïve at times though, but I still think she's great. I like that she's an artist, and I liked the setting of the not quite a B&B yet house. I also enjoyed Alec, he's a bit of a tough guy, but he's a big softy underneath. Alec and Lilliana had some great chemistry, and their sex scenes were indeed steamy. I liked the storyline with Alec's parents, and I like having the characters from the other books in this book; I actually would've liked to have more of them! The situation with Alec's quarterback was interesting, but I didn't totally like how it ended up; Lilliana got the shaft in that situation; also you don't need a duffle bag for that amount of money, I was laughing at that. Fun, sweet read with some interesting characters. I recommend this whole series!

    Changed in an instant.

Alec had his world changed in an instant. In that one second he lost something he had dedicated his whole life to. The people he trusted, the sport he loved all let him down. Who wouldn't be bitter. So he retreats to the place he left behind. Lilianna returns home to deal with family matters and decides to make it a permanent move. A change of career, starting a new business and coming face to face with a blast from the past is all a part of small town living. I requested an ARC of Melting into You from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This story moved me in a number of ways. It is a story about appreciating the opportunities that are opened. People change, circumstances change but the beauty of life is that there are always new directions to explore. Great read.
