    Speaking as a local....

Since I live where the story is based I was dubious about this book. It surpassed all my expectations. It is well written, well researched (or the author lives there), and a thoroughly good read. I would recommend it. Looking forward to more from this author.

    Open your heart to love

Melting Into You is a great cbook and a wonderful addition to this series. I really love Tracey's writing style and the quality is of a very high standard. I enjoy the small tight-knit rural community setting and I think it's amazing that Tracey can write so many fantastic stories within such a small world. But she pulls it off with aplomb. Ben Harland is a typical long in the tooth bachelor, a real live Neanderthal Man. He grated on my nerves a bit at the start, but I quickly warmed to him. His progression is heart-warming and I loved his loyalty toward his daughter at the end of the book. The two girls were so cute and it really appealed to my maternal side. Kezia is battling some pretty big insecurities, and she is terrified of relying on any man again. With Ben's help and some prodding from her friends, she learns to overcome them. It's a beautiful love story - two guarded people opening their hearts and deciding to share a family life together. Another fantastic read from Tracey Alvarez. Actual Rating 4.5 Stars

    For Love of Family

Ben Harland is a man of few words. He's had to grow up quickly, after his father's sudden death, and take over the family business to support his mother and sister. Undertaking this huge responsibility has left him emotionally stunted. He suddenly finds himself the father and guardian to Jade, a little girl who is just as emotionally challenged as he is. Kezia Murphy, neighbor and local school teacher, offers Ben parental guidance with the temporary care of his daughter. Zoe, Kezia's daughter, and Jade become fast friends. With Ben and Kezia spending so much time together, it's not long before the sparks start to fly. If you've read In Too Deep, you were introduced to Ben and Kezia, two people who are so different, that Fate had to throw them together. In reading this, I went through the whole gamut of emotions. I was shocked, sympathetic, delighted, angry, excited, heart broken, and enchanted. Two wrongs can make a right, family is simply people who love you, and cupcakes can fix anything. Tracey Alvarez has woven another delicious story. After I finished it, I couldn't stop telling my friends about it. This was a delightful, emotionally wrought second book to the series. I am very much looking forward to book 3. I am privileged to be a part of Tracey’s ACR Team, where I receive ARCs in exchange for honest reviews.
