Okay, but not my favorite SB book. I think I was thrown by the impossibility of this woman slipping into Carol's world undetected. The circumstance of the plot are not plausible, certainly not in today's world. It may have worked in the 1970s or 1980s and I guess one has to read the book as historical fiction.

An unusual plot, presented in Sandra's unique and exiting prose.

  • Plausible Plots That Keep You Turning the Pages

The initial shocking story line seems unbelievable. But I found myself glued to the pages trying to answer questions and get to the finale. I truly enjoyed the mix of every day characters and settings. Great read!!
