    Delightful Story

A delightful story about a trusting and innocent young lady who didn't expect much from life but who won the heart of an elderly Duke who loved and cherished her. Sigh! The story is told in a way that captivated me from the very beginning and then held my attention in a vice-like grip thereafter until the very end. I love the way Sandy Raven doesn't feel the need to use unusual and not often used words that has one reaching for the dictionary on a continuous basis. Bravo! This allowed me to enjoy the story and understand what was going on, undisturbed. There are a few explicitly sexual scenes so I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who can't handle that. All in all, a most enjoyable Novella.

    Good but too short

It was a good read but just too short and ended too quickly. I was caught off guard when it ended as I thought there would be more to it. I guess I am just used to reading longer and more in depth books

Miss Amelia Lands a Duke: The Prequel

Wonderful Cover! The Duke is a mature, handsome man, with a touch of silver at the temples. Miss Amelia is 29 and is considered "on the shelf". It's refreshing to read a story about older characters. The writing is excellent, editing is outstanding and the male and female narrators really bring the story to life. If you haven't listened, you are really missing out on a wonderful experience. Sandy Raven writes her characters into life where they become so believable. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity for an amazing experience. I just loved it... loved Chaversham's character (by looking at the cover) and the strength and independence Miss Amelia maintained without giving up her good humor. check it out

    Not quite finished

It did not seem to have alot of depth. It was a light read but could have used alot more substance and detail to story it left me looking and wondering what happened
