    Laugh out loud

Another hilarious read by Emma Hart. Jamie Bell is a woman technically in a man's world. Working as a mechanic she has to prove herself time and again that she is just as good as any man. Enter some confusion when she applies for a job at her father's old mechanic shop, the introduction to Dexter Ryne who loves nothing but to wind up Jamie and a bet that she won't make it two weeks before she is fired and you have a hilarious read. Jamie Bell was a great character and sometimes I felt that it was her sheer stubborness which got her into trouble. She is sassy and strong willed but so is leading man Dexter who brings just enough machismo and laughter to make two wonderful characters. Additional character such as Dexter's grandfather, aunt and sister and jamie's best friend make this book a well rounded, laugh out loud book to read. I can't wait to see what else Emma Hart has us her sleeves.

    Review: Miss Mechanic

Miss Mechanic by Emma Hart is a standalone romance told in dual POV. Snarky humor, confident heroine, hot alpha hero, and the battleground is a garage. Dexter Ryne's family purchased the garage from Jamie's family. Dexter and Jamie had never met until she applied for a job at the very same garage she grew up in. In need of employment and finding everywhere else to sexually backwards to believe in her skills as a female mechanic, applying at "Ryne Garage" is her last ditch effort. To say her interview went well would be a gross misuse of the truth... Jamie Bell is Dexter's worst nightmare. She is snarky, challenging, a little bit ridiculous when it comes to self-confidence and devastatingly beautiful. Worst. Nightmare. Agreeing to give her three weeks to prove herself seemed like a genius idea, at first. But between their inability to interact without fighting, her beautiful long legs, AND the fact that she is every bit as skilled the mechanic a she originally claimed he finds himself crossing the line... Well-written and well-paced, I found this to be yet another entertaining and enjoyable read from Emma. Definitely on the light-hearted end of the romance spectrum, small town setting, interesting secondary characters from the astute & precocious seven-year-old niece to the crazy grandparent and even crazier great aunt and then back to the meddlesome sister, and that is just on Dexter's side of the family. Loved this. Enjoy!

Full of delightful banter and sexual tension...

4.5 Stars "I don't eat my words. I eat the souls of sexist asses like you." Jamie Bell is in a constant struggle to be taken seriously as a female mechanic. When her latest job interview turns out to be with the most infuriating sexist yet, she is decides it's time for her to take a stand... and show the latest misogynist just who he is dealing with... Dexter Ryne has a serious issue with hiring a woman to be a mechanic in his shop... mostly just the one woman... whom he can't stop thinking about in various compromising positions. The good news is she is always being snarky with him, so they don't really have a chance of getting too comfortable... Sexual tension abounds and it's only a matter of time before these two are going at each other... in more ways than one... This was a great read! I love this take on a gender reversal where we are treated to one strong and independent woman who knows her own worth. The banter between Jamie and Dexter is highly entertaining... and both of their families add some extra comedic relief to the budding love/hate relationship going on. Sexy, fun and full of delightful banter and sexual tension... this book will have you rooting for every strong woman of the world... and for getting her HEA her own way. I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.

    A very entertaining read!

4☆ Dex and Jamie butt heads like nobody's business! They are both sarcastic to the max and definitely seem to enjoy getting on the others nerves. I enjoyed the banter, but at times I just wanted the story to get along. They are more of a slow build up and have lots of tension, and I really enjoyed that. They are so similar that they don't even see that they make a lot of sense together. I really enjoyed their relationship, it had a natural flow to it. They both have quite the amusing family to add to the humor as well. A very entertaining read!
