Loved this book! Another winner in the Justice Team series by a talented author duo. In this book, Taylor is the FBI agent investigating a cold case involving a senator's missing wife, when remains are found that might belong to the missing wife. As she investigates, the complications pile up and lead her to partnering with Matt, a former homicide detective now working as a PI. They then also form an alliance with Grey and his Justice Team as danger follows them and has them fighting for their lives. This is a quickly moving novel that kept me turning pages just as quickly as possible. Along with the great action is the even better chemistry between Taylor and Matt. These two sizzle whenever they're together. Fans of the genre will love this book! While it's part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. However, the series is so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. This is a must read and the authors are on my must read authors' list.

    Another great Justice Team book!

Once again the writing team of Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano delivers a book full of romance, suspense, and enough twists and turns to keep you engaged in the story right to the very end. Taylor and Matt were an awesome pairing. These two had chemistry which extended beyond the bedroom. They were such a great team working together, and I loved the fact that their romance seemed to happen naturally and without a lot of drama once they decided to give things a try. Matt was perfect for Taylor – she’s been burying some pretty serious stuff far down and he refused to let her get away with keeping things bottled up. He was also quick to recognize that Taylor could take care of herself and didn’t need him to go all alpha and caveman on her, but he also just as quick to recognize when she needed him to lean on. Taylor was a bit intense and career-driven, but I really loved watching her pair up with Matt and the Justice Team when she gets pulled from her duties. I loved how the plot was laid out, making you feel like you were discovering the various pieces of evidence and clues right along with Taylor and Matt. It was fun seeing the tie-in to the Justice Team and their involvement in the case. Anytime Mitch shows up you just know you are in for a fun time! And the sisters – I’m so excited to hear that there will be a series featuring the two sisters that run the PI firm that Matt works for…they are going to be so much fun! I may be in the minority with this, but I did find the ending didn’t quite work for me. I would have liked it to have been a bit different (not the tie up of the major story line, but a secondary plot point in the book) – things tied up a bit too nicely and felt too predictable, and I would have loved to have seen the ending of that secondary plot point be carried forward in future books in this series. I know others won’t agree since the ending tied up all the loose ends, but I did find myself thinking “no, please don’t let that resolve because I can see this being woven into so many other stories” as I was getting to the end of the book. Not a huge thing, but I would have loved to have seen things end a bit differently. Overall, this was another great read by Evans and Giordano. Their combined voices always deliver great dialogue and a story that is seamlessly constructed. This can certainly be read as a stand alone but I guarantee you’ll want to go back and read the other books if you start here!

Hot and exciting! Romantic suspense at its best!

Missing Justice was fantastic! The romance was hot, the suspense was intense, and the story was awesome. Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano are phenomenal writers on their own, and when they team up, it's a guaranteed masterpiece. I love seeing the Justice Team in action. It's a very interesting group of people, and they always have a very interesting way of getting things done because they don't always play by the rules. The way Matt and Taylor's relationship changed through the book had me quickly turning pages to see what was going to happen next. There was never a dull moment. Missing Justice is romantic suspense at its best! I received a complimentary copy of this book.

Sparks are flying and danger is everywhere!

If you want riveting action and sizzling sexual tension, Missing Justice is for you. Missing Justice is Book 7 in The Justice Team Series by Adrienne Giordano & Misty Evans. I was given an ARC for an honest review. This review is completely honest and voluntary. Both Matt and Taylor are high achievers trying to deal with tragedy in their separate pasts. He is a private investigator and she is a rising star with the FBI. They have some history together. Not good history. She believes he poached one of her cases and won’t let it go. But in addition to the history, there is also an undeniable attraction between them, always simmering just below the surface. They meet again by chance and finally give in to the desire. What can a one-night stand hurt? It’s not like they work together or have to ever see each other again. However, it turns out they are working together, on opposite sides of trying to solve a murder. Matt believes his client is innocent, while Taylor believes he is the murderer. As they begin to share information – and danger – they become closer and closer, both professionally and personally. This is a terrific story, with non-stop action and suspense, humor, sexy times and likeable characters that you can’t help but want to end up together. The sparks are there. Taylor is closed off and wary. Matt already knows he wants more. He’s the strong, not-so-silent type, and oh so sweet. You are drawn in from the first and know Matt and Taylor so belong together, so when they are in more and more danger you can hardly take a breath. The cast of supporting characters keeps you guessing – neither Taylor’s nor Matt’s bosses like them working together and you are on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who could be the murderer from the old case and who is trying to kill Matt and Taylor now. I read some of Adrienne Giordano’s Private Protectors series books and thoroughly enjoyed them, but this was my first adventure with The Justice Team. It certainly won’t be my last. I intend to go back and start at the beginning of this series, and I highly recommend you do the same.

    Missing Person and Cold Cases

3.5 stars. Missing Justice is the seventh book in the Justice Team series. This book can be read as a standalone. There is violence and sex in the book so definitely 18+. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The characters are well defined and dimensional. The storyline will keep you guessing what twists and turns will be revealed next. It definitely kept me riveted and reading. If you haven't read any of the Justice Team books, you should and could start with this one.
