    Fun and interesting pop science.

I actually had a LOT of fun reading Modern Romance. It’s completely unique: it’s pop science (aka interesting, relevant, start-a-conversation-with-your-friends science), but hilariously laid out for you by the brilliant Aziz Ansari. And I did actually learn a few things; my poor bf received a somewhat frantic “we need to do more fun activities together!?!!” phone call after I’d finished a certain chapter, ha. So yes: read this book. You’ll laugh, you’ll likely learn, and it’ll give you something to think and talk about :)

    Great read

One of the more enjoyable reads in awhile. I'm a fan of Ansari's humour and if you aren't you probably won't enjoy it as much. Insightful and relevant stuff, with data to bring home his points but not too much that it becomes overly academic.

A Look at how dating differs today

This book was definately not what i expected. This book looks at how dating has changed with technolgy such as cell phones and social media. With cited sources, findings from professors, graphs, statistics and sit downs with large groups for feedback, i found this read more like a Univerity sociology book. The author does try to add witty humour here and there, but i found it was definately lost in the rest of the books content.

    Funny and insightful

Exactly as advertised: Aziz presents his own insights as well as the latest findings in the field of dating and relationships, as well as the results of a sociological study he conducted alongside a social scientist. Very funny. Highly recommended.

    Keep low expectations

I do like aziz a lot, the intro was promising, then after 2 chapters the book became the cheap kind of books. And you can notice a sharp slop in the care writing the rest of it.
