  • This book will break your heart

Painful, heartbreaking, devastating. I couldn’t stop crying. I knew what was going to happen, but the story was so compelling, I couldn’t stop reading... even though I knew it would hurt.

  • Monday's Not Coming

I found this book captivating and compelling, but I do have some bugbears relating to the overall scheme of the story and how the ending played out, so I will keep this review short and sweet. This was a hair-raising story, in which some parts of the story, a felt a huge adrenaline rush. I like the author's idea of titling the chapters, I think that really made a difference in my personal outlook of the story. Claudia is a quirky character, and I feel the entire human race can connect with her on multiple levels. I felt that there was a lot of slang and cursing, but then again I may be a year younger than the target audience. Girl drama remained true throughout, and I truly admired the author's knack for description and connectivity. In some ways I couldn't connect with Claudia's emotions, but she seemed very impulsive. The ending of this book was not called for, and I think that in an alternate universe, the author should change the ending to be less gory and vulgar, and more wrapped-up in a happier sense. The book was very hard to put down, which was equal parts good and bad for my eyes! :) I also think the book had some clear protaganists and antaganists. If I am being honest, I would love an alternating pattern in the chapter perspective varying from Monday to Claudia. This book had its ups and downs, but I think it's a worthwhile read and does have a somewhat good moral. Special shout-out to Libby, an Overdrive app available on IOS and Google Play! • Monday's Not Coming

I really liked this book. I read it last year and wasn't that fond of it because it was really confusing. I then tried reading it again recently and liked it a lot more, mostly because it was much less confusing. I would recommend reading it again if you do not like it. Your thoughts might change.

  • Monday's Not Coming

This book was amazing. I highly suggest that you read it twice, because some things make more sense once you know what happened to Monday and Claudia.

  • Eye opener.

Second half of the book was great. Was not expecting the plot.
