  • A fitting end to a great series

Well, that’s a wrap on the Blackwell Sisters series, and it definitely went out on a high note. Georgie is the most serious and self-contained Harrison sister, dedicated to her laboratory research but separated by distance and emotions from her sisters. She loves her family, but she’s the planner and is worried about each of their new-found, and very quickly firmed, new relationships. And not wanting to be left out or questioned about her lack of a relationship, she does what one does...brings a fake date. Zach finds himself in a precarious position after meeting Georgie on the plane to Montana. He needs her cousin’s help, but feels torn about the deception. Especially after finding that the Blackwell ranch is a place he seems to fit into seemlessly. This couple is totally mismatched but so easy to cheer for. Yes, Georgie’s transformation from shy, reserved observer is a bit fast, but I enjoyed how Zach’s support and calm nature brought her out of herself and helped her bond with her new family. Obviously, there’s lots of Blackwell relatives thrown into the mix, with a few surprises and the conclusion of the Thomas Blackwell mystery. All in all, this last book and the series as a whole has been a delight for this reader. I highly recommend not just Montana Wedding but all the Blackwell Sisters books...and the original series, the Blackwell Brothers, too.

  • Loved This Series

I will truly miss this family! The Blackwell/Harrison girls were all terrific! Each one was unique and enjoyable. This final book really wrapped up the series well. Although the other books can be read as standalones, this book, I feel, would be a little confusing if you didn't read it last. It's meant to be a final book as it wraps everything up. It's the "wedding" of the first daughter, Lily where all the sisters come together and kind of recaps everything from the other books. Georgie is the final sister who hasn't found love yet and she feels the pressure because she doesn't have a date for the wedding and as luck would have it, she sits next to a man on the airplane who is going in her direction so she asks him if he'll be her "plus one"! Zach is not her type at all but agrees to go with her because he's going to that area anyway. Georgie has always been focused solely on her medical research and never on love or anything else. I adored Zach from the very beginning. I loved how he changed Georgie into thinking more about family and having a "life" outside the research facility. I have to say that out of the 5 sisters, Georgie was my least favorite but I loved Zach! This book was fantastic because I got to see all the sisters again too and solve the mystery of their biological father. It was a wonderful story for the holidays and the wedding was awesome! A great series and I would love for it to continue!

  • The cowboy and the doctor.

This has been such a good series. Georgie has been working in her lab non-stop. Her family thinks she is hiding, so she asks a co-worker to be her date for her sister's wedding and then they won't think that she has no life. Her co-worker doesn't show up, but there is a cowboy going the same way as she is. Zach is trying to get Georgie's cousin to see his horse and once he meets Georgie, he thinks he has an in. He doesn't like deception, but that may be the only way to save his horse. Once they are on the Blackwell's ranch, they both come to love this big family. Can they love each other too? She is on her way to London and he follows the rodeo. Can they make it?

  • Another Blackwell Sisters book to love!

I think that Montana Wedding may be my favorite Blackwell Sisters book! I absolutely do not want to leave any spoilers so all I can say is that I fell asleep at 5am trying to finish it! I read the next 15% a few hours later. This book brings together so many Harrisons and Blackwells. It is really amazing. The book is well written and well paced. It would work as a stand alone, but is so much better if you have read the first four books. I love Georgie's journey and Zach is a really special guy. You do not want to miss this sweet, heartwarming book!
