"Moon Thrall" - Book 2 in the LaRue series

I just finished reading this novella July 10, 2018. This is my review. I liked this story about Court and Skye. The story line was interesting. Court and Skye have good chemistry together. The story flows well. The cast of supporting characters are interesting and likable. The story can be read as a stand alone but I strongly suggest you read the Chiasson series as well, as both are strongly connected. The LaRue's and the Chiasson's are cousins and family members from each family show up in both series. Skye is a reporter. She's also human. But her articles are all about the paranormal creatures living among them. Court LaRue is a werewolf. He and his brothers keep the paranormal factions living in peace. When Skye's article threatens to unveil the paranormal community, the LaRue's must stop her. But when Skye's life is put in danger? Court is assigned to be her protector. There's an obvious attraction between them. Can they deny their feelings for each other until the threat is neutralized? Or should they give in and enjoy what time they have together because one, or both of them, could be killed. Overall, I enjoyed this novella and will definitely be reading more from this series.
