    Moonlight Scandals

WOW! The whole series in two days. Thank goodness for the snowstorm! This one was my favorite and wrapped everything up nicely. There was not as much sexy times in this one but still just as much chemistry between the characters, just not as much sex. Rosie is a ghost hunter and she gets mixed up with Devlin deVincent who everyone is convinced is really the devil. Well, I have been intrigued by Devlin since the first book and it was so good to see him unraveled and boy does he ever! Rosie does not put up with much from him and gives as good as he dishes out which is comical and keeps this story moving. There are many twists and turns and that makes for a splendid read. Overall, I recommend this series. If you can make it through the first book, the second and third are well worth your time! **Received this ARC for review**

    Wow!

Wow! Moonlight Scandals is definitely a fitting title! There are so many scandals, lies, and secrets just waiting to be revealed in this book. Needless to say the storyline was really intriguing and surprising! I've always been super curious about Devlin and what else he was hiding, I just wasn't expecting all of that! He's a complex guy. At first he seems like this closed off, cold, and untrusting guy, but there's so much more to him. I loved seeing him change and open up throughout the book. Rosie is perfect for him. She knows how to give everything right back to him, their banter was hilarious! She just gets him in a way no one else does, they just make sense together and can be super cute together. I'm happy with the way things turned out and the update in the epilogue.

You will be hooked from page 1!!

I was really looking forward to the third novel in the De Vincent series by Jennifer L. Armentrout because I needed to know about Devlin; I needed to know who he really was. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting all these turns of events when I began to read it. I don’t even know where to start this review because a lot seems to happen in it. I just know that I had difficulties putting it down. I think my work might have suffered from it… oopsie. Okay, let’s start with Devlin then because he was the third and most mysterious brother of all three. I swear that I never really knew how to feel about this one because he seemed to have no emotions and everything seems to be business for him. Then, we finally get his book and I get to see that like more often than not, there is more than meets the eye. I really enjoyed getting more to his background because it explains a lot about his attitude. Rosie… Rosie… Rosie… God, she is probably one of my favourite characters of this series. I really love her personality and I love how she isn’t scared to tell Devlin what’s actually on her mind. She’s such an interesting character and so funny. When she is first introduced in the second novel, I already liked her friendship with Nikki and I wanted her with Devlin especially after their first meeting; there was something there. The sexual tension between Devlin and Rosie is off the chart. I don’t know if we can call this a slow burn, but I will say that it kept us begging for them to do something about it for a while. They have such different personalities but at the same time, they are connected because of these differences. And along this, a lot of events unfold and you don’t even know where to look; Jennifer made sure to write this book to keep us on our toes. A lot I wasn’t expecting and I loved this book for it because I love when I finish a book and I’m like… Okay, they had me there. This book has everything to keep you hooked from the beginning to the end. Even though it has an end, I wouldn’t mind if more books were added to this series. A lot of things could still be written about this world. Overall, this was another awesome book in the De Vincent series and if you haven’t started it, please do it now because you won’t be disappointed.

So scandalous and with lots of jaw-dropping moment

Definitely worth the wait - very scandalous and such a page-turner. This book was a mix of everything - so well balanced and with so many twists and turns you may find yourself constantly screaming NO WAY and OMG at your wall. I knew this was going to be the cherry on the cake with this series, but I didn’t see half of the things coming – not at all. And now I just want to go back and reread everything knowing some of the scandals that would follow. I wasn’t sure what to think of Devlin, having in mind all his appearances in the previous stories, but the man absolutely surprised me. He was the typical bad boy, alpha hero, super overprotective of his loved ones and had this tough exterior, but inside he had a huge heart. Just my type of a male hero. Confident, sexy and a bit arrogant, but also caring and attentive. But then little by little, we got to know him and he got under my skin. He has gone through a lot and his story was really an intriguing one to unravel. Rosie was such a perfect match for him in so many ways. She looked like his total opposite and maybe in a way she was. But what I loved about her was the way she challenged him and stood up to him. She was such a strong female lead. Went through a lot as well, but she wasn’t intimidated by Devlin and openly put him on his place. I had so much fun with their banter and interactions. They were like fire and fuel. Tried to fight their attraction, but the imminent explosion of passion and feelings was inevitable. A combustible combination and the heat was off the charts hot. The steamy scenes were combined with a really great romance though and there were some parts that made me sigh and swoon. The suspense and paranormal elements in this one were so strong, I was constantly looking over my shoulder at night. It was creepier than the other two IMO. There were so many surprises along the way with this book that you should be prepared for the constant jaw-dropping at the final 20% or so. So many twists and turns, so much action that you won’t be able to stop reading before you finish. Definitely, a great ending for the series, although I’m secretly hoping to see more of this world sometime soon. The de Vincent family was not your typical family, but they were а close-knit family that loved fiercely. Those 3 were some of Jen’s best BBFs, so be sure to check them out and enjoy the weirdness and secrets surrounding the de Vincent brothers.
