    A Charming Love Story

Moonlight Surrender is a charming story. It is an easy read and intertwines fantasy, paranormal, supernatural, and the world that we know quite well. The beginning of the story is a bit ominous as we find Tulip escaping to freedom from what seemed to have been a torturous existence. Tulip, a dark fae, finds herself in need of protection from her kind. She lands in the middle of a pack of wolf shifters and under the protection of Vaughn. Tulip has been through so much and needs an opportunity to heal. Vaughn provides her with just that. Tulip is more than meets the eye, and Vaughn is, for sure, her protector. Jessica Coulter Smith writes an intensely simple love story that makes you want to see that happily ever after. Before they can get to the happily ever after, they have to get Tulip off the light fae's most wanted dead or alive list. There are a couple of twists that help us to understand why Tulip is so different from the other dark fae. What is also awesome is that the two co-Alphas, Gabriel and Connor, seem fair. They welcome Tulip into the Pack as they sense she is the mate of someone in their Pack. Tulip mating with someone in the Pack is one of those happy twists. She meets someone from her past that brings even more happiness into her life. There is a grumpy old wizard named Eric who looks like he is 30 and also comes to Vaughn and Tulip's aid. Gabriel's wife is a hybrid who is happy that another fae is in the Pack. I am sure there will be more to come from this Pack, and it will be nice to know how things progress.
