    More Than Rice

This title diminishes the horrific experience of sex trafficking. Unrealistic scenarios and characters, just way too fantastical to believe. It reads like a missionaries fantasy dream.

This is a fantastic book. Shocking, sad, upsetting and informative. Gabriela is such a brave, caring, wonderful person - she should be so proud of herself. I find it unbelievable that trafficking still happens in this day and age - all those men involved are scum and should be punished severely for their part!

    More than rice

Heartbreaking story of a sick society taking poor innocent victims into a life of slavery and in certain circumstances death. Gabriella is one true amazing woman who found the strength during the hardest of times to build friendships and trust within the group enabling them to believe there is a future beyond the darkest days enabling them to have the skills they need to build better lives should they escape this hell in which they are living. I couldn’t put this story down it was well written and in some parts Gabriella and the others build a family but yet deeply sad to read
