  • This book is MORE than 5 stars!

This book.... wow I loved it! First this book is written from the male POV and it is awesome! So often we read from the heroines POV for most of the book and we can relate to her emotions and motives. But this book is awesome because even though it is written from the heroes POV you can understand all of his motivations and reasons. Now don't get me wrong I wanted to hit Maxon over the head several times in this book but it was awesome to read what he was really thinking verses his actions. Keeley could have just been a manic pixie dream girl but she has all the fun and quirky qualities but with depth and charm. I loved the chemistry between Maxon and Keeley and it was a joy to read their romance. I don't want to give any of the plot away so I will say that this book made me laugh, shake my fist with anger, sigh with romance and kept me turning the page. My only complaint is that it ended!

  • More than all the wants & feels

You know that moment as a reader where you want MORE. No, no...not the hearts and flowers. Those are nice but I'm talking about the FEELS. Something that just delivers on an emotional level that makes you question EVERYTHING. Where the hero with a damaged childhood that scars who he is as a person yet makes him the most driven and ruthless person EVER...than in comes the heroine that all knocks you off your feet with her reasonable and calm self. Here's the twist...does he fight for what will make him more successful (even if that means trampling your brother) or the feelings he's unfamiliar (what are these feelings??) with the woman that speaks to him on every level? Yes....I More Than Want...I want everything and Shayla delivered the I anxiously waiting for Griff... (More Than Want You was provided in exchange for honest review)

  • Loved this opposites attract romance!

This is the first time I have read this author and it won’t be my last. This book takes place in one of my favorite places on earth, Maui, Hawaii. I absolutely adored the setting. I also loved that music was involved. I love when the authors provide play lists for their books. This book has a very alpha career driven hero, and when you find out about his family, you will discover what drives him. The thing is, under all that bravado is a man who has deep feelings that he was never taught how to express and apply them. My heart hurt for him, but he had to learn the hard way. Keeley is the opposite of Maxon. She is lighthearted and a free spirit. When he asks what she wants out of life, she says, I just want to be happy. He couldn’t comprehend that answer. He wanted money, he wanted a title, he wanted to be the best and here was this beautiful, quirky woman who aspired to just be happy. She of course had the dream to own her own B&B once she graduated from college. She wasn’t afraid of hard work. She worked as a yoga instructor at a senior center, she had been a waitress, went to college, worked as a receptionist and was quite a talented singer. She also had the great ability to ask the tough questions when the conversation got deep. She was able to connect with Maxon and really get him to think about his life. This book had all the feels and it had a twist that I didn’t see coming! I was getting that burning in my chest a few times, as the characters went through their issues and I wanted to cry a couple of times because I was so caught up in their emotions. Their romance is a whirlwind, but the connection they have is soul deep and they both feel it right from the start. Keeley was definitely more in tuned with her feelings and it took Maxon a bit to catch up, but when he did, he jumped all in. I highly recommend this emotional and sexy opposites attract romance!

  • More than want you.

This started off really, really slow. It did get better. The storyline is dumb. Having said that I did like the characters. Overall an OK read.
