    Thanks for your feedback!

    Interesting character development, suspenseful

Laurie Breton does a good job of rounding out her characters and showing their personal growth in the face of adversarial conditions, as part of the developing story. She tells more than one story here, intertwined. There are surprises and it is suspenseful. I read this before realizing the characters are from previous books - but it stands alone fine. I am going back and reading the ones she wrote before this now. I like that the teenage runaway is not defined by standard cliche characterization. That said, it is not a 'deep read.' Certainly entertaining and well written: a fairly good range of vocabulary employed, scenes described well, and so on; but one that is easy to put down and pick up again (not one that keeps you up reading all night).
