    Thanks for your feedback!

Heart-pounding romantic suspense at its best!

This is a stand-alone story within a series. A number of the characters from the previous books have support roles in this one though. The two main characters, Maddy and Quinn, are so well developed that I connected with both of them really quickly after starting this book. They each have their own emotional baggage that keeps rearing its ugly head and getting in the way of moving on with their lives. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how they slowly faced up to it and figured out the steps they needed to take to work through it. This all takes place in the midst of being targeted by a madman who wants to kill both of them. The key though is that he wants to play some games and mess with their heads first. The plot is crafted so ingeniously that it really kept me guessing. In fact when the actual mastermind behind all the games is revealed I found that I had made a number of wrong guesses along the way. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. Human Prey

Moving Target is the third book in the Elite Guardian Series. Although you don't have to read the two previous books to enjoy #3, it is helpful to get to know the cast of characters who are a part of each novel. The Elite Guardians are a group of Female Bodyguards who are well-trained and qualified to do their jobs. Each book focuses on one of the ladies in the company. In #3, Maddy and her friend Quinn, a police detective, are both recovering from serious injuries. When they do not show up for Quinn's birthday party, their friends know something is amiss and begin tracking them. Maddy and Quinn have been kidnapped and are being held hostage on an "island of horrors" by a madman. First they must survive the madman's deadly game of stalking the prey (Quinn and Maddy), then they must figure out who wants them both dead. This book kept me up late at night as I wanted to read "just one more chapter" before I turned out the light! If you like edge of your seat suspense and clean, wholesome romance, this series is for you. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved it and cannot wait for Book #4, Haley's story, to come out this summer!
