  • Murder at the Piccadilly Playhouse

Nice easy read, not overly captivating but still enjoy C.J.s books

  • Same as the other ones

I wonder if whoever wrote the short description for this book read the same book that I did. The first paragraph is okay but the rest doesn't really fit with the book. While I liked the story, I still wonder about Ms. Archer's agenda with her common theme. Is is saying "look how much better women have it now than they did in earlier times" or is she trying to point out shortcomings in today's society by setting the books in the past. I challenge her to write a book set in current times to make clear what she is trying to say. I know I didn't say much about the actual book, but it is pretty much what I expect from a C.J. Archer book.
