    Murder by misrule

Excellent. Daring do and skullduggery in Elizabethan England.

    Really enjoyed this

Great fun! It was a good historical mystery, the characters were absorbing and the plot was good. I enjoyed it. I do love mysteries with a bit of background that I don't know about, historical setting, information and such.

    Death by Misrule

Although the cover clearly read Death by Misrule the contents were Death by Disputation. Big fail in quality control. There were also a few lapses in editing.

    Murder by Misrule

I really enjoyed this book. My favorite genre is interesting historical fiction that teaches you about the time and place while being entertaining which this was. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I feel an especial connection as I was born in St Albany’s where Francis Bacon came from and attended Francis Bacon Grammar School, named after him.

    Interesting read!

As a historical mystery buff I was happy to find an Elizabethan entry. The author provided an interesting view of London and particularly the inner workings of the legal system with enough court intrigue to keep the reader interested.
